New Birth Date is July 8!

It's official! My life starts all over again on July 8th. I am so excited, scared, happy, etc. It's been a 3 1/2 year journey and I'm sure it is well worth it. I know I have a few rough weeks ahead of me but this website has been a life-saver. Thanks to all of you that have posted your personal experiences, share your photos and supported one another through these life-changing experiences. I will keep you updated on my process. Hi Jan i was looking around and saw your reply to new birthdate july 8th Are you in Gualala Ca? I live in Annapolis 15 minutes away. i had my surgery on june 30th . great to know im not the only one on the coast to get it done !! Where are you haveing it done? i was at John Muir medical center in concord. my doctor is fernando otero great doc. i was released the following day so im home now best of luck and if you need to talk let me know Margaret beck

Hi Margaret, Yes, Gualala. I didn't even notice you were from so close! It's so good to know I can talk to someone locally. How are you feeling? You're 4 days out, that's great! How are you feeling? Is getting water in difficult? What protein powder are you using? I like Jay Robb's. If surgery was 6/30, why is July 8 your new birth date? I'm having mine done by Dr Jossart at California Pacific Medical Center in SF. Is there anything you know now that I might like to know? ---jan---
