I go in for preop july 9th. (this coming wednesday) I cant believe I am finally at this point. Good luck to you!

I've read about people testing and buying the protein powders and then hating them after surgery. I was instructed to hold off til after surgery on buying a bunch...

That's why I have several different ones including soy and egg white in case I become lactose intolerant. I want to make sure I'm ready the day I get home not wait and then not have enough protein in the house. We're in the sticks so I can't run to the store and buy something new. You're mileage may vary. ---jan---

You can buy samples at www.vitalady.com for 1.99 and then find out what you like first before spending a lot on the large container. I hear the Champion Chocolate Stax is good. I personally like EAS Whey Protein Vanilla. That way I can mix DaVinci Syrup's (SF) in them and make all sorts of different flavors. Plus...Walmart sells a SF Chocolate Syrup (like Hersheys) that taste good in the protein shake too! My surgery is July 14. Just a few more days!
