. we can do this...yes we can October peeps... I definitely have felt like I have been a slow loser compared to all my local friends who had surgery when I did. I started this thing out at 262, I am now 188 (lost 74 pounds), and my doctor wants me at 160 (although I think 140 is a better goal). So to my doctor's goal I am 73% there, and then for my goal, I am 61% of the way there. Looking at the numbers this way definitely does make me feel better!

I've lost 100lbs which leaves me with 108 to get to goal.
It also totals 26.4% of my total body weight lost and 48% of my excess weight. I need figures like that to keep me from getting discouraged during these long stalls.

 Hi Deb,
Thanks for doing this. Sorry I'm a little late. But I would ideally like to lose 209 pounds. I've lost 86 thus far so I've lost 41% of my excess weight. I feel that's a little on the low side, but I've never lost this much weight in my life and I'm three pounds away from the two hundreds! Yea!!! I'm also 5'9". Everyone is doing so great!

 70/120 = 58%
Wow that really is good isn't it?
