Topic: 6 pounds!!!
How in this world can I gain 6 pounds and NOT change any of my eating habits??? I'm still drowning myself in water and diet tea every day, I still dont have carbs, still lots of proteins, nothing out of the ordinary! The only thing thats changed is my stress level- my hubby deployed today and I just found out I need hearing aids (which sucks because I'm only 33!!)... What is going on? I think the worst part is that I was 1 pound from my personal goal and 4 pounds from the century club, now I'm 10 pounds off! AAGGHHHHH!!!!

Yeah I heard that about Circus Circus but I was looking at price but frowning at the same time. The airfare is expensive at least I know it is for me coming out of Florida. It's between $400 and $450. So we shall see how it goes................. I even thought about switching locations to Dallas which was a lot cheaper but we'll stick with Las Vegas right now and go with the flow.................And you didn't open a can of worms............

Circus Circus is in a bad location. The most reasonable hotel I have stayed at is either Harrah's or Imperial Palace which are located across the street from Ceasar's and the Mirage. You can pretty much either walk or take the tram to other attractions from there.

If Spring Break is affecting our hotel rates, it will probably drive up airfare as well. For the folks who are interested in doing this, I wonder if we could consider either February or April, so we can avoid the additoinal costs (and craziness) associated with spring break? I know you're trying to narrow down, rather than expand possibilities, Keke, so if this is opening up a big can of worms, I apologize.
I'm flexible on the month we go.
Oh, one more thing, Circus Circus used to be in a kind of seedy part of the strip, though their costs are definitely reasonable. Has anyone stayed there lately, and what was your experience? I looked on Expedia.com, and the average rating was 2.7 out of 5, so not that good. The other three hotels you mentioned sound great to me, based on having stayed there or having visited their casinos.
