Hair....
Good morning!
My cosmetology student daughter....tried talking me into letting my hair grow longer than I usually have it. Well, for two months I tried....and during those two months I really didn't notice any major "hair loss" like I have heard so many of you mention! Well, yesterday I decided I just couldn't handle the long hair anymore so I made an appointment with my beautician to get my hair cut and while she was cutting it she said she could tell that i had lost a little bit of hair but that she could also tell that it was growing back in already and she said the funny thing is that its growing back in curly!!
She said I have always had a natural wave to my hair but she really saw a difference in the wave/curl this time around! I had natural curly hair as a kid and I hated it because my brother and sister always called me poodle top! Anyway, I thought it was pretty neat when she said my hair is growing back curly! Who would have figured that one?! Hope you all have a wonderful day!!
Hugs,
Holly

Yay for naturally curly hair! That happened to me 5 years ago - I had brain surgery, and while I had very little shaved, I did go through a period of hair loss about 4 months after due to the effects of anestesia etc. (much like now). The saved portion (the back of my head) and the hair that grew in after the hair loss was all nice and curly. I had about 2 years of wonderful curly/wavy hair.
I just started the hairloss again. Fistfulls, but I've always had thick hair, so it doesn't look thin, just lays differently on my head and feels lighter to me. I am having a lot of people ask me about my "haircut" (I haven't had one) etc. Oh well, I have my fingers crossed that this time the hair will also grow back in nice and curly for me!
How interesting Holly!!! Hope you enjoy the curls this time around.
I've always had naturally wavy hair too....and every time I got pregnant it got curlier. Has stayed that way ever since. I'm wondering what it's going to do when it all starts coming back in? I'm stilllllllll loosing hair right now and it's making me
I'm waiting to have anything done to mine until I'm sure there won't be bald spots in my hair! Gotta have something up there to do a combover if it's needed.

That is weird how hair is. When I got pregnant with my son, my hair got really curly. Like ringlets and I had always had pretty straight hair (hair got dark and curly and my voice got deep...damn hormones). I have noticed that I am loosing a little bit of hair. I see it in my sink after I blow dry it. I also see a few strands on my hands when I put my product in the wet hair.
Dave's cousin had breast cancer and after her hair came back after her chemo it was really curly. It was a little wavy before, but it looked like a perm after
Hope you like the curls. Did you get a pic of the new 'do? Can't wait to see it!!!
I'm sure this rain is really making it curly today!!!

HI HOLLY,
IT SEEMS AS IF HAIR LOSS IS A COMMON THEME W/ THIS AND ANY TYPE OF SURGERY DUE TO THE ANESTHESIA, WHY? NO ONE REALLY KNOWS. NOT EVEN THE ANESTHESIOLOGISTS, I ASKED THE ONES I WORK WITH, THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHY THIS OCCURS.
MY HAIR IS STILL FALLING OUT IN CLUMPS, EVERY TIME I WAS MY HAIR THE TOWEL I DRY MY HEAD WITH IS FULL OF HAIR, THAT'S WHY I DECIDED TO NOT WASH MY HAIR EVERY NIGHT AS I'VE DONE IN THE PAST.
MY HAIR IS, AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN FINE AND THIN :'p:. WISH I HAD THICK HAIR
LIKE THE REST OF MY FAMILY, BUT NO SUCH LUCK. I'D LOVE TO HAVE CURLY OR WAVY HAIR.
IT'S BEEN RECCOMENDED TO ME BY TWO CO-WORKERS WHO HAVE ALSO HAD THIS SURGERY TO TAKE ZINC AND BIOTIN BESIDES MY VITS. I STARTED LAST WEEK BUT OF COURSE HAVEN'T NOTICED A DIFFERENCE YET.
HOPE YOUR EVENING IS GREAT.
DONNA, SFY
