I pray that she will ask for a second opinion at another hospital!! An intestine leak cannot be left to heal on its own. The body cannot handle the poisin. All my prays to Pat. Alisha

This is really serious. I had surgery in 2000 and the surgeon punctured my bladder and they kept telling me over and over about how bad it would have been if it had been my intestine. I don't see it healing itself either, something has to stop the poison from entering the rest of her body?????????

I PRAY she find another opinion. I had a leak 1 day post op. Nearly died and was in coma for almost a month. Still not recovered. The other postings are correct ---- this stuff is leaking into your body cavity! It does not just "evaporate"... My prayers with her.
