hair loss

i'm freaking out over hair loss. help! i have heard biotin, increase protein. i'm doing that and i have been taking two prenatals instead of regular multivitamins and still losing it! any other suggestions?

your really doing all you can do, my nut said that by 1YEAR it will stop... i was like OMG!!!  1 year?...
i feel for ya, cuz i'm in that same boat....i did start with really really thinck hair, but now?......wow! it's all over everything. and i have lost well over 1/2 my hair....

i try and keep my protein high

Mine had stopped right about the 6 month mark and has started up again- I feel like I have no hair!.. and I'm thinking about a shorter hair cut.. it just feels so thin to me .. like I can't wear a pony tail anymore.. so I have to bun it up.. it sucks!
one plus is that my face is so thin now that a short hair cut might look cute..lol...

my  hair is so thin..a small little bitty bun that i can get it into, nothing holds it in except for bobby pins! all hair clamps etc are too large to hold my small amount of hair. i wonder if we need to look into rogain or something. ugh..

Hair loss sucks!  I'm not trying to flame you, but my surgeon said prenatal vitamins just don't have what we need.  I religiously take four Optisouce a day.  Like you, I also take Biotin.  I take it twice a day.  I do have hair stubble where new hair is growing in.  I am sick of having to dehair my legs so often though.  lol.  I have never been a very hairy person, and usually use Nair about every 10 - 14 days.  I now have to use it about every four days.  I also have to have my nails done more often.  (They're fake - I'm a nail biter.)  Sooo, the Biotin does seems to help.  For a long time, I used Nioxin shampoo, conditioner, and follicle booster.  About a month ago, I started using Wen that is advertised on TV.  I absolutely love it.  I have naturally curly, unruly hair and need all the help I can get.

I wish you luck with the hair loss.  I pray mine doesn't start back up again.  If it does - I'm buying a wig!!
