Good morning...just wanted to share with you that today is my first appointment with my doctor and first step towards having lap band surgery. I have been reading this forum for weeks and learned so very much and anxiously await my turn on the losers side.. you all are so loving, kind, and supportive. I know GOD lead me to this wonderful place to guide me through my journery with all the support anyone could get from such a loving family of people. You all seem like family already. I am anxious to start this day and the journey to being a healthier me...:-) I just signed on as a member and will figure out all the details to get my profile updated. Thank you for already being such an incentive and confirmation to me that this is the road I needed to take...

I've seen the work of Dr. Sarah Troxel who is in Anchorage. I saw 2 tummy tucks...their bellies were flat as a pancake & very little scarring & most of all - no dimples!

If someone in this AREA would be interested in monitoring and setting up a SUPPORT NURSERY to help in this effort, please let me know.
You will just recruit and monitor within your area for the Surgery Support Angels - within your area only. This way, people can have local support, visitors, friends, etc.

I have started a Surgery Support Angel (SSA) group on my ObesityHelp blog. Click on my name ~ Under Tall or Web Medic ~ (right near to the cow) and it will take you to my blog.
Go into the SAA group and pick someone you would like to be your angel, pick more than one if you want. Everyone on here are wonderful people and would love to be your angel.

I have started a list on my OH blog for persons interested in becoming a SURGERY SUPPORT ANGEL. If you are interested in being a support person please put an entry into the comment spot, just click on my name to go there.
Please sign-up for a SURGERY SUPPORT ANGEL, there are so many people that would like someone to give update reports, call them and keep tabs on their well-being after surgery.
A lot of patients go without because they don't know how to find someone.

Hi everyone... On Tuesday night I went over board at dinner time. I didn't feel like I ate too much but the past two days my pouch has been tender. I'm unable to eat much. I was wondering if anyone ever experianced something like this before. I have been taking Tylenol but it doesn't seem to help much.
