Happy TGIF..and not too soon!

Morning Cali and Happy TGIF!!!!! I did not think Friday would come quick enough. As much as I love having 3 day weekends.....a 4 day work week is even harder! My students have been so sprung out...actually the whole school. It is always this way each year when it is the County Fair time. The fair grounds are just a few miles from our school. Kids literally cut school and go...grumble, grumble! I also found out yesterday that 3 of the 4 art submits of work I turn into the fair of my students won 1st place also. That made me so stoked!!! The one student who won 1st place didn't think his painting was good enough. I told him how far out it was...now he believes me! It was a Dia de los Muertas painting, all painting was done with tempra with only using the 3 primary colors which he had to mix and black and white. He made awesome colors too! I will get a pic of it when I get it back next week from the fair. WOOHOO for the students! So what is on all of your agenda's for the weekend? I am sad to say that I am going to be working on the....oh wait a minute....did I hear YEARBOOK? Yep that is right because I know there is no way I am going to finish 7 pages today. I thought I had 6  left, but it is 7.  I had want to go out and do some fun things, but I don't think there is a way to get around it at this point. So let me live vicariously through you right now and by some miracle maybe I can get out by Sunday and get to a fun party   Have a great day my friends!!! PEACE OUT!!!  

Good Morning Janine and Cali, What kudos that is for you and the kids.  Can't wait to see the pics.  As for my weekend it will consist of moving boxes.  Still don't have the house so Wesley will go home on monday without having been able to do one thing to get it ready.  But they said we could put stuff in so we are going to try and get every box I have packed over there while I have some muscle for help.  Everyone enjoy the weekend. Good Morning All.......

YAY! Its friday!! This is my weekend off, so after today, I only have 2 working days before heading off for the cruise.

Yesterday my doc could not get me in to be seen, so he called me some meds for my sinsus. The spray really worked fast and after only about any hour, my face was feeling so much better. But I can only take that once a day. The doc said to take it at night so I would be able to sleep. but my face is hurting again this morning, so I wish I could take it again this morning.

Nothing much for today, but tomorrow is SUPPORT GROUP!! I can't wait to see everyone. I like this getting to see them once a month, but in between I miss them.

Good Morning Janine & Everyone, Thank Goodness It Is Finally Friday!!!!! This has been the longest short week in history!!! I was suppose to work Saturday to make up for Monday, not going to do it, I need my 2 days off!!! I need to rest my fingers, body and mind, lol. Today we have like 90 new inmates coming in so I wont have time to breathe either, so if I can make it through today, through the rain, the weekend is here!!! Oh well off to get ready for work. Hope everyone takes time to realx this weekend. Have a good day and be good to yourselves!!!

GOOD MORNING JANINE AND ALL THE REST CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND YOUR STUDENTS FOR DOING SO WELL. WILL BE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THE PICTURES. WELL FOR ME IT'S JUST ANOTHER DAY ON THE FARM, SO TO SPEAK. NOTHING REALLY NEW HAPPENING AT ALL FOR ME THIS WEEKEND. I'M JUST GOING TO DO A LITTLE LAUNDRY AND TRY TO PICK UP THE HOUSE SOMEWHAT. MONDAY I SEE MY PCP DR. FOR MY MONTHY CHECK UP AND TUESDAY I HAVE THAT COLONOSCOPY DONE AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL FIND WHATS UP AND FIX IT. OTHER THEN THAT NOTHING, SO I GUESS I WILL WISH YOU ALL A FUN FILLED SAFE AND HAPPY WEEKEND. TAKE CARE AND ENJOY TODAY.

 everybody....  !!!!!               Whew, we made it through the week guys, isn't that GREAT?    And a rainy   it is here in the San Bernardino foothills! Woke up to rain pouring down and the dogs had absolutely NO interest in getting up and going outside. Had to kick their butts out to the yard to do their business and they were quick about it. No sniffing around and exploring this morning!!!         Got a VERY busy weekend ahead. So busy I am almost dreading it as I don't know how it'll all get done, but I know it will. Tomorrow is support group in the morning (YEAH!!) then Darrell's brother and sister in law are in town from Denver so we are having them over for lunch. They haven't seen the house since we did the re-model nor, of course, seen me in person since my WLS, so that will be fun. Then up the hill to Darrell's sister's for a family reunion and dinner. Sunday is all the chores and errands, house cleaning and laundry and gotta get it all done early too so we can watch the OSCARS! Just hoping I don't have a hang over from the party Saturday evening!       Time for another cup of coffee and try to get it in gear. Hope you, and all the Cali Crew, have a great day Janine!    

Good TGIF morning Janine and Cali! Congratulations on the accomplishments for you and your students!  I am greatful it is Friday and the weekend is upon us. Tomorrow is the last day of doggy school and Kandy has to take a test. I hope she does well. Also have some housecleaning and laundry and such in the plans. Hoping it doesn't rain all weekend as Sammi and I would like to get out and have some fun in the sun too. Hope everyone has a great day! Sue

Hi Janine, I love going to fairs(now that we can walk without our feet feeling like their going to explode)...how exciting your students won with their paintings Today I am having lunch with my aunt and then some more girl time shopping  Tonight Gus and I are having dinner with some friends out in Glendale and then we are going .  Tomorrow I am going to the bead/jewelry show in Anaheim with my mom and then me and Gus and going  again.  I love dancing with my man...he has batteries that just does not quit. Sunday....Gus goes for his certification for being able to teach classes at LA Fitness...with him luck Have a safe and great weekend Cali!! Love Anna

Good Morning Everyone!    Yes, it's true that Fridays can never come soon enough-lol  I especially like Fridays as we can dress casually in the office & I can wear my jeans.  (And by the way, they are size 14 & I look good in them!) This weekend is not too thrilling - get my car serviced,   get my son's hair cut so he can start working,   and get some of this mess that we call a house cleaned up!  Sunday I will be cooking dinner for my "friend".  (Too soon to call him a boyfriend)   Have a great weekend everyone!
