Good Monday Morning Cali!

Well a big ole.....I'm tired Good Morning to all of you!!!  I know gang it is hard losig that extra hour of sleep, but was it nice or what having a bit extra light out yesterday Although I am going to really hate going to work in the dark again....me so love having it light longer!!! So did you all have a great weekend? I did in spite of having a terrible week last week. I am fortunate to have this really good support sysptem of Jeff, my kids, a few friends, and this board. I just so apprecate the support. My weekend was filled with grandkids, partying a bit, dancing which I am so paying for in the back and hip department, and a pleasant afternoon yesterday with my inlaws and kids. Too bad it has to end I said to Jeff last night that I had really a busy weekend and wi**** could have lasted a bit longer....I need to get back to taking care of me....like painting, exercising...riding my motorcycle....you know all that good stuff that feeds my soul. Anywho....there is so much going on with people around here Poor Janel lost her father yesterday....please drop by her post and show that good Cali lovin to her. IF you do not know Janel....just let me say what a wonderful , kind, loving person she is. Lets not forget Lori C's dad either. He is still having some problems with that darn feeding tube and I know he must be really frustrated. Please keep that poor man in your prayers. A lot of us have been there with ailing parents....not something easy to go through. Well Miss LuLu is BACK!!!! I missed that crazy blond even though she is a red head now.....WOW her picture were fantastic...and I am so jealous...okay in a good way!!! Sue I am glad you got the insurance company to overturn the inhaler thing for Sammi....how awful to know that your child is suffering and the insurance companies do what they do! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! Double grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....so tell me..did Miss Sammi get her pancakes this weekend? I do not think she is home with you this morning,but you sure can give her a super smooch from Granny neen!!!! I must go on a Kitty hunt for her! Steve where you be? I hope you get back on the boards this week...you are very much missed. Speaking of missing people....say "I" if you miss Diane? I sure do!!!  I have been remiss about calling her, but that Lisa girl is so good about calling her everyday and posting how she is doing! Hey Lisa did you survive the big birthday party? Looking forward to hearing about it. I remember when my oldest son turned 16, I gave him a surprise Barney BP with all his friends...it is dang hillarious!!! He will be 30 next month and I am going to give him a surprise party....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm what theme should I go with???? I know Hello Kitty is out  unless I can find Hello Kitty gone butch or something LOL Jean how was your weekend? That goes for Jodi too along with Jill, Kim, and Kim V? Hey has anyone heard from Monica and how things are going with baby Jordyn? I am sure new mommy is exhausted with baby and move! And speaking has anyone heard from....what about that party girl Celest? Did you have a great party Celest? Sue Bee you sure were a sweetie about throwing her a party!!! Hope all is well with you too! Hey Darlene....thanks for sharing your pictures..very cute! Vicki....how are you doing this morning with your back....needless to say one sneeze while I was sitting here and I felt it all the way to my foot...you know what I am talking about. Did your art teacher see your collage yet? You really did a great job and I am proud of you....my long distant pupil!!!  Kim V...you must have had a blast Saturday night. Although long....just very cool stuff and look forward to hearing about it! Well I wish I could remember in the wee hours of the morning what is going on....but at last,I must close. Good Morning Janine and the rest of the team. I'm so glad to hear you had a great weekend, sorry to hear that your paying the price this morning. Sometimes it worth it, I remember a few of those a long time ago. I'm am so sorry to hear about Janel's dad, and your right a lot of us have been there and it still hurts me to this day. I too lost both of my parents with in a year of each other. I think my dad just couldn't take it any longer with out my mom. My doctor said that was very possible. This weekend hubby did manage to get a few things hung up for me. He didn't have to work on Saturday but did have to work on Sunday. I hate having Arthritis, I can't put things on the walls like I use to all the time. I never waited for someone else to do anything for me. I would do it all myself. I hate the fact that I have to depend on others this much, but I am thankful that I have someone to depend on. I really have  more then a lot of people do to help me. It's just that I have to work around there schedule. As for big brother it's a party everynight.. lol Well I'm just waiting for the dr, to call to see what my colonoscopy came up with and then he wants to talk to me about revision. Well I think I'm all for it. I have just put on to much weight and it's hard to breathe again and all my joints hurt worse then they did before. So I think I am ready to start the process. Of course I am hearing that the Rose procedure and the Stomaphyx are not covered by most insurance's. So of course I will probably have to go it the hard way. I guess it's time to QUIT rambling and complaining and get something done even if it's wrong. Take care all and have a wonderful week!!!

Good morning Janine and Cali! I soooo hate this time change. I read an article that said "a study showed" daylight saving time didn't save us any energy but actually cost us more. I know for me, I would rather them leave it at standard time. I like having the light in the morning time. Sounds like you had a great weekend too! Sammi got to have pancakes with her "aunty Mary" before she had to leave Saturday morning, then yesterday afternoon when we dropped her at her grandparents she told her grandma she wanted pancakes. Knowing them, she probably got pancakes for dinner last night too. That's my little pancake! LOL I will make sure to squeeze and smooch her when we pick her up today. I too miss Diane and am glad miss Lu in back safe and sound. My heart goes out to everyone struggling with loss, pain, and other difficulties. Well, I better get moving or I'm going to be late.   Mz. Janine and all the Cali Crew! Geeze, is it a back to work Monday already???? With the time change this weekend I am running a bit behind this morning, of course, so just a quick type by for me right now. I've been working on my computers and home network ALL week and as of this morning it is mostly complete so I shouldn't be a stranger around here now. Sorry for those who HAVEN'T missed me!       Glad Lu is home and I miss Diane around here. Hope to see her this coming weekend in person. My thoughts and prayers are with all those in the crew who are struggling right now. Life is nothing if not challanging. Morning Teach! I am doing okay...had one of those really yucky emotional weekends and everything seemed to set me off crying.  I know it had to do with being PMSy.  Joy. I also was graciously given, by youngest, a bit of a cold- so, I have been sneezing quite a bit too.  So, we are in that shooting pain club together, my love.   Gotta run and get these kiddos of mine to school and then PT for me. I will be back later for the thankful post. Later alligator! p.s.  My art teacher did receive my project, but I havent received any feedback/grade yet.

This AM came much earlier then I was hoping  I was hoping to sleep a few more hours. I don't work today, I should be sleeping. But I guess I was to sleepy. I don't have plane for today. UPS guys should be here between 2-5 for my stuff for the next support meeting. We are going to have a great group.

Its so weird, this morning the world is moving so much this morning, I should take up drinking so I would a reason as to why I am feeling this dizzy. (Janine, don't say it) lol

Good morning all -  well I had a great weekend - well a great Sunday anyway....I went to spend the day with my BFF in torrance and we went to the stamp convention and also to a Spring craft boutique....let me say now I had a couple of super WOW moments.... I ran into several people I hadn't seen in a while and they were shocked...in fact there were 2 people, that I know very well, that didn't recognize me .  One of the ladies looked at me as we were walking up, I smiled and said hi and she kind of snubbed me...then when she saw my friend and we walked up to her she said OMG, I didn't even recognize you.....it felt great.  It was definitely an ego day for me. Of course I spent to much money at the convention - me and my addiction to rubber stamps - but there was a new vendor there that had the cutest stamps I couldn't resist. Then we went for a long drive around Palos Verdes and went down by the beach and watched the waves a such for an while - then to lunch - it was jut a great day all around. My prayers ar egoing out to those of you going through  hard times with dads, loss, stress and all ....I am thinking of all of you. I am saying "I" - I miss diane too....I want her up and running and back to her old self back on the boards. Today is ME day - getting nails and toes done then finishing up details to get my taxes done tomorrow.   And to my SP - how  you doing, haven't heard from you in a while....oh and thanks for the kitty card - I got it last week and meant to thank you then...sorry...it was so cute. Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew! WOW...its Monday allready? The weekend just flew by...musta been cause I was so busy. My daughter's Sweet Sixteen party was a HUGE success. She had 8 of her friends come over about 4:00 on Saturday and then we surprised them all with a Hummer Limo that showed up at 6:00 to pick them up! They were all freaking out...it was so cute! The limo took them over to a favorite restaurant of my daughters for some dinner...(we followed and met them there and then followed the limo, but from afar...cause its so not cool to have your parents watching right?), then the limo  drove them to a concert of some local bands in town (my daughter got to on stage and sing one song with her favorite band) and then after the concert went through the starbucks drive thru...that made their night and made them feel really cool! Then they were back at the house by 11:00 and they stayed up for most of the night and slept until like noon yesterday. Thank goodness only 4 of the eight stayed the night. My daughter said it was the absolute best birthday she has ever had. Her friends all had a blast too and were very gracious...which my DH and I were very pleased about...you just don't see that too much. So needless to say...yesterday I was pooped. Then we had more birthday clebration last night with my parents....ugh! I am birthdayed out! I have been checking in with Diane just about daily. I didn't talk to her over the weekend as I was so busy...but on Friday when I chatted with her, she was doing good. She is till having pain and is trying not to overdo it. She was planning on having a very relaxing weekend and taking it easy, and I hope she did just that. I am hoping to see her tomorrow..I miss her! I will let her know when I talk to her today that you all miss her on the board...she will love to hear that. Janine, I hope you have a better day today at work...hang in there chicky...you are tough and just remember that you are so much better than them! We need to plan a girls day here soon! Is the College of the Desert having their swapmeet every weekend now? I would love to come out for that sometime soon! Okay...I need to get some work done...or pretend to..lol!
