Good Saturday Morning Cali
Well Good Morning to all of the Cali board peeps!
I do not know why I am sitting here because my back is killing me from lifting a 50lb box of clay the wrong way yesterday. I really thought I would be okay by now, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! And a huge grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I know better, but sometimes forget that my back sometimes is fragile.
Yesterday, I received yet another request for a transfer interview. It is at the newest middle school in the district...beautiful school actually. The principal want to interview me on the same as the one for the high school, but I got him to schedule on Monday instead. I am going to hold out for the high school, but take what is offered if I like it. I am just really blown away about the interviews because things are so tight with the state budget for education crisis and I thought my chances were next to nothing landing an art position let alone an interview! So I am nervous, I am going into uncharted territory!
I do not know what you all have planned for the day...I know a number of you are doing the LB coffee thingie..look forward to the pics. Katt's having a dinner...but beyond that....nada....so spill kids!
Whatever you do, I hope all of you have a wonderful day. Take advantage of the wonderful sunshine that is abound in our gorgeous state!

Good Morning
I woke up early so I could ride my bike to work, but I am not feeling all that great this morning and dont know if I am going to ride it. I think I am just being lazy today. But since I didn't do much yesterday. I guess I should force myself to ride this morning
OK Guess I should get moving.
I wish you all a great day

Today D will be working around the house and garden with some limited help from me. Then this evening we head over to my Mom's for a family birthday celebration for my brother Bob and myself.
Speaking of Bob I spent my birthday day with him at the hospital getting his belly drained. Pretty interesting procedure too. Kind of like siphoning a gas tank! And the relief is instantanious too! It was awesome seeing him go from miserable to comfortable in a few hours. They were able to drain 6 1/2 liters of fluid from him.
WOW!
When he got there they weighed him in at 244 and when they weighed him as he left he was 228.... 16 pounds of fluid gone! Now the hope is his water pills can help his diseased liver keep the fluids from building up. I know the doc is going to look at adjusting the doses and such and they are testing the fluids for some other issues as well. Of course he will never get better per se but we hope they can keep his treatment current as his condition changes over time to prevent further liver damage and his symptoms under control.
Hey J I hope your back pain eases up quickly girl and you are feeling tip top as soon as possible! You have too busy a life to be sidelined by that cranky back of yours!
Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday!
