Happy TGIF Janine & The Beautiful Cali Crew Sorry, I'm late replying to the morning post, but I have a good reason.  I had a long drive because I was leaving my boyfriends hotel this morningNo really!!!  Anyway, thanks for the kudo's on the weight loss Janine.  I'm taking your advice on the carb thingy.  I hope it doesn't get any hotter and if it does, I hope I don't have any errands to run.

106 here at almost 7pm in Santa Clarita. I was told it was 114 at 4PM. I say anything over 98 is "F***ING HOT"! Who can really feel the difference between 98 and 118? Not me. I was very happy to be at work today. My 30 year old house does not absorb AC very well. But I don't have the $30K to re-do the AC and the windows.

Good evening!  Took me a while to get things back together after being gone 2 days.  I'm not sure hot and happy go together...but I'm used to 50's and 60s with occasional blips in the 70's here in the summer.  Today as a 70's day. I've got my local support group in Petaluma tomorrow (only a 2 hours drive) and a little shopping while I'm near a REAL grocery store then back home to the cool coast. :-) It's hard to believe I used to live in the south, I just bake over 75 these days.  Someone at Thursday's support group said that will change.  Does everyone else feel cold most of the time?  Inquiring minds want to know.
