Good Sunday Morning Cali!!!
Good Morning Cali....rise and shine...well not right now....I hope that all of you are sleeping like babies!!!!
First and foremost thank you all of you wonderful people who made my day wishing me a happy birthday. Birthdays are extremely difficult for me and this is the 1st year that I am handling my birthday well. My son has always said to me that I needed to get over how I felt about them (long story) and my friend was saying the other day that when I truly forgive what happened surrounding my birth that I would go on and enjoy this day. I really took into consideration her words and she was sooooooooooooooo right.
This is the first year I allowed people to do things for me and this is the first year that I can say I am happy. When I got up there was a card on my computer from Jeff this is what he wrote to me:"thank you for all the years we have had together....you get more beautiful each year. I love you, Jeff." That was like....okay the best present a girl could have!
I went out to dinner with friends last night...went dancing and there was this really cool band that played 60 and 70's rock n roll...danced...had a great time. Today my family and more friends are coming over....I feel blessed. My motto this year....54 and so much more! I posted a pic of my profile before I left last night.
Today also celebrates my twin sister Sue Bee birthday...yes we are twins by different mothers seperated at birth!!!! 
Could not think of a nicer person to celebrate this day with even though it will be in spirit for now!!! Look out next weekend!

Lots of fantastic things to celebrate this weekend...Monic'a rebirth and so many who had surgery this week and all are doing fantastic....life is good you all....just remember that when things do not seem so great!

I work today, so I don't have so much to tell. OH Joy!
I guess I should be happy I have a job. So many are without jobs right now. Now don't get me wrong. I love .....LOVE my job. I hate the hours. 12 hours is just to much.

Janine I love your motto - 54 and so much more. I will be 54 in a couple of months and if you don't mind I want to borrow your motto? Wow, sounds like you had a great b-day celebration - dinner, dancing, friends, family....at least you stay on your feet when you dance.
Yesterday was a busy morning then a lazy afternoon. I am so not used to being out "after dark" lol. I went to bed fairly early and slept until 5:30 . And today my butt and hips are sore (gee you think falling on my ass could be the reason - lol).

Steve - I so wish I could give you a great big hug just to show you how much I care and and am thinking of you.

Tomorrow is my Mom's 87th birthday. Hard to believe sometimes and though she is frail these days, mostly due to her arthritis and COPD, our doc saw her a month ago and said she is in overall good health. Of course this is a sad birthday for her but we will be celebrating her birthday, Darrell's birthday, my nephews daughters birthday, Samamntha Rose(3), my nieces sons birthday, Gabriel(2) and the life of Brother Bob next Saturday. The whole family will be here (my niece lives in Pennsylvania) and I am hoping for an event that is fun, meaningful and that will leave a good feeling for everyone to remember.
Today we are loading the moving truck this morning which Rob will park here overnight then they will go to Mindys grandfathers birthday (what's with all the Cancer people??? LOL) this afternoon. They will pick up the truck and head home to Phoenix in the morning. I will probably collaspe and try to reset my mind for the short workweek ahead. I have next Thur and Fri off to prepare for the celebration next Saturday. After that I hope to settle down and get back to "normal"... if you can use that word to describe me anyway!

Yesterday's wedding was absolutelly beatiful! Here's hubby and I on our way.
Sammi stayed the night with my Mom last night so I got to sleep in this morning. Boy that felt good. It's cold and foggy too so the weather was perfect for sleeping. The fog is so thick right now that the ground is actually wet.
Today, we will go visit Sam's Aunt who is in town from Oregon after a bit of house cleaning. Tomorrow is my Uncle's Birthday so a family dinner is on the agenda.
Continued prayers to Steve and his family and also for quick healing to all those who need it.
