GOOD TUESDAY MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Morning California! I received some "good" news today, at least it feels good to me. They're going to keep my son in Rehab till Sunday (he was slated to get out today) I can't tell you how much better I feel aobut this.
Today is my youngest son's birthday, so now I can concentrate on his day. Just made him a huge breakfast. I need to pick up his cake and do a few more things for his party, but all this can be done at a much more relaxed pace now.
This also means Harley and I actually have a night completely to ourselves tonight, which is a rarity.............so I think it's going to be a nekkid night...........wooooooooooohooooooooo. (sorry if TMI for some)
Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Good Morning Cali,
Just wanted to drop in and say hello.
I called in sick today so that I could meet up with the person from the gas company. He came to the house early. So I decided to take my bike to Santa Monica and ride from there to Venice. While in Venice, I will stop at my favorite knitshop and get some shrimp tacos.
More love,
Kim

Good morning Diane and Cali Crew!! Getting a late start again today. I haven't been able to get to sleep before 2am lately. Worried about finances due to my broken ankle and not being able to work. I just keep telling myself 18 more day, 18 more days (till I get the cast off). I think I'm gonna hit up my doctor for a Rx for Lunesta. Just for a couple months.
Janine, I hope you feel better soon. Summer colds suck! Take care of your back to. I'd invest in an air mattress for the camping trip.
Steve, saturday sounds like it may be a good day for everyone with birthdays and celebrating Bob's life. Quick story: My dad's family is Irish. When my dad passed away 12 years ago I stayed with my mom for a week and helped with the funeral arrangements. The morning of the funeral I had just finished breakfast and was rinsing out the dishes when I had this really big hiccup. My mom was just coming around the corner when I hiccupped and asked if I was drinking already. I laughed and told her that if this was a traditional Irish funeral, everyone would be drinking and plastered already and it was only 9am...lol
I hope everyone has a great day and remeber to stay hydrated!! =)

Good morning Diane and California!
My favorite TV shows: CSI, NCIS, Bones, The Closer, Crossing Jordan, Ghost Whisperer.
I'd love to attend a few of the meetings/parties way down south. I'll be sure to let you know when we visit my inlaws in Moreno Valley. Usually that's in December but they decided to meet in Pismo Beach this year.
I've been quieter than usual. My inlaws were visiting and it wore me out. I'm sleeping longer and taking longer naps. I'm going into town this week to mave my corns looked at by a pediatrist. Some days it's difficult to walk. I've changed shoes and it's better but they still give me a pain now and again. I managed 4.25 miles walking yesterday and I'm down 12 lbs at 12 days post op. Yep, I'm loving it!
Have a great day!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe I forgot to mention Crossing Jordan! That was a favorite show of mine from the first episode ... I was really sad when they canceled it, but I did like how it ended. If they ever put it on DVD, I will be all over that!
In remembrance of my mom, for always and forever ... Patricia Alice Harkey, 04/19/56-02/10/08 ... I love and miss you every moment of every day, Patty Cake.
