Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that Pacific Bariatrics finally called and I'm scheduled for my RNY on 8/4/08. YIPPPEEEE...I'm so excited, I don't know what to do first. I've only got five days left for work, and as a social worker for cps, I've got to get my cases ready for transer and I've basically got one work weekl left to get this all done, plus Court reports that are due for the next month. Guess I'll be doing a lot of overtime.

On top of this news, I find out that I got my transfer. So not only am I saying goodbye to all of the children and families that I work with, I'll be saying so long to my coworkers as well. This was sooooo much to handle in one day. I'm still trying to absorb it all.

Thanks for all of your support. You all are the greatest.

Haven't figured out how to do a sig yet...but my highest weight was 313/ current 283/ height 5'9"

You have a great surgeon!!! I am a Zorn "baby" too!!! Do you live in San Diego or are you traveling down here from up north somewhere??
I think it is very common with Zorn not to get much notice, I only had 10 days when I got my date!!!
I'm so excited for you sweetie!!! Just take a deep breath and you will get everything done!! If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask, we are here for you!!
Be sure when you go to your orientation on Friday that you have all your meds and supplements written down with dosages because you will need to write them all out on forms. If I hadn't of known that ahead of time, I would have been screwed!!! Also, if there is any "last meals" you want, have them before Friday because you can't gain weight between your orientation on Friday and your surgery Monday. I didn't know that ahead of time either so I just skipped my last meal!!! lol
