Good Monday Morning
Good Monday Morning my little (yes little) friends! I know it is that nasty "M" word day but in the great wise words of our resident BEAR Steve.....only 4 more days until TGIF!!!!
I hope that all of you had a terrific weekend and a lazy day yesterday like I did. I had to throw my clothes on early and head over to my friends house to insure the cable guy was doing the right thing and then after that, I came home and was a pool pig for a while until the clouds rolled in and Ava came over....now there was a hard choice...Ava or the pool...Ava or the pool...guess you all know that Ava won out!!! 
After the kids left, I watched a few movies and crashed. I do not know how many of you have ever watched SouthPark....but I have to say...I still find that cartoon so damn funny with all the little 3rd grade boy potty humor and crudeness. I know....what can I say...I'm immature or what? Okay about some things!
Early this morning I have to leave with Sandy and Ava to Loma Linda for her monthly helmut visit. We are hoping that the doctors are going to let Ava have her helmut off during the day now and only have to wear it when she goes to bed at night. She has made great strides with reshaping her head. Fingers crossed gang because it is so hard on her with the heat.
Okay Miss Jodi....I wanna know exactly how do you have time to anything else but take care of your garden???OMG you took some amazing pictures and thank you a gazillion for sharing it with us! I had to laugh at your husband vacuming the lawn..that was hysterical and Sarah...OMG was a sweetpea....thank you so much for sharing a part of you with us! As I said you took some amazing pictures and don't tell me that you do not know how to use the camera girl!

Nikki, I hope you have a good day and get everything done that you need to get done. Tomorrow is your big day for perky boobies!!! I am excited for you. I surely hope that something pans out with the new job opening. It is all going to come together and I think that once your get the boobs fixed the job will come!
Vicki now how cool is that that Mike is home for good! How did you all swing that one? Not that it is a bad thing. I am just surprised because they were talking that he was not even going to be able to come home for your daughters oral surgery. I am really excited for you because this has been such an enduring experience for you. You have done marvelous and you are one heck of gal!
Monica W sure glad you just got to be lazy and that both you and Jordyn are feeling okay...sometimes you just have to do the lazy thing for sure!

UserLisa....glad to hear that you are doing well out of surgery and that your boyfriend decided to be supportive....it is hard to understand change sometimes! Keep up doing what you are doing and let me tell in the grand picture...you are going to be peeling off those 5 pounds and 5 pounds until it adds up to goal!
Hey Lauren did you enjoy the demolision derby thing at the fair?? That sounds like a whole lot of fun to me!
Well Maureen you have dogs that pee...my Maggie that darlin boxer of mine....she ran in my room on Friday and proceeded to projectile barf on my feet....I was thrilled....screamed and scary Hunter so bad that he started crying big alligator tears! Good luck on week 2 of your liquid diet!
Lola it will not be so bad going back to work...like you said it will give you some structure and it will also make you kind of get your mind off the whole change going on within your body and mind. I was glad to go back to work to get my mind off having the bypass! Good luck today!
Christina I am glad you are getting a jumpstart on the wl thing again. I know that it is difficult to get going again, but we are all here to support you!

Hey Jenni...when are you leaving on your vacation...have time swing on by to the desert for some cleaning???LOL I hope that you are able to relax and put all this ugliness you are having to go through out of your mind for a while and just have some fun! Just keep repeating after me....I will have this surgery....I will have this surgery!
Judjio are the pickles the best there or what? I know it is Kosher and even though I am not Jewish....I would eat there regardless of Kosher or not!!! What is that stuff you are talking about? I am not familar, but it sounds like something decadent and not on my menu plan LOL
Okay well off I go and to all you lurkers and readers *****ad the morning post and never have a word to say...say something because you never know what you say might resonate with someone else. Heck yesterdays post drew a grand amount of lookie lu's for sure....don't kow why, but the ratio of people posting was way off too! Come on...post and say something....we love living vicariously through all of you..it is how we build community and make lasting friendships!!!

I am having cramps and a pulled muscle in my back this morning....great... Way to start off the week. I would call in sick but we have too many Supervisor's off already, so it's take the meds and go on!
Well a lot of people have been giving me advice on what to do with trying to get approval. I have been officially been driving myself nuts checking out each and every possibility! Unfortunatley Cal DMHC does not govern my Insurance because I have BCBS of Illinois. Lucky me!!! (Not!) So.... I got on the Illinois forum and I am trying out those people for advice now!
But, I just want to say thanks to everyone for all your advice, help, support and expertise!
I will be going on vacay next week. Yay!!! No computers, no phones...in our little cabin by the Lake.....just my hubby, my dog, and the in-laws!
I am SOOOO looking forward to it!
I'm sending Positive vibes to Ava today that she will not have to wear her helmet all of the time! She's such a darling!!!

Here I am - not MIA today. Well can I have a drumroll please - I GOT THE WALL PAINTED YESTERDAY.....actually 2 of them....and I love the color so much. I will admit the edges are a tiny bit messed up but not bad for my first go at painting. Then after the wall I cleaned out my outside closet (where all my gardening, tools, and outside junk is). Once all that was done it was down to the pool for a little swim and some sun. I am pretty sore this morning - guess used some muscles painting that aren't normally used. but at least its DONE. Now the next task is getting all of the family photos back up in a nice arrangement.
I need to go back to yesterdays posts and catch up on whats up with everyone - Gotta check out Jodis pictures for sure...I am dying to see that garden.
Janine I am sending prayers that Ava gets a green light for night time helmet only....
Today is my Nail/Toes day and then home to start the photo task.

Gosh, the weekend flew by and I couldn't believe I had to get up when the alarm went off this morning.... alas, here I am, sipping my coffee and gearing up for the workweek. BUT, like you said, only four days until the weekend!!!
Got to spend time in my garden over the weekend. Lot's of things still left to do since I was out of pocket for gardening the last few weeks. Saturday evening we went to Mom's for dinner with my niece, Kirsten, and her family and had her over here for dinner last night. She, her hubby Matt and son Gabriel will be heading back home to Pennsylvania this Friday. It has been nice having them here for a visit.
Well, time to get a few things done in preparation for my back to work Monday so I will wish you all a great Monday!

THANK YOU. I TOO LOVE THE DALHIA'S, I WAS BEGINING TO THINK THEY WERE NOT GOING TO BLOOM, BUT THEY DID. THAT WAS A FIRST EVER FOR ME. NEVER PLANTED A BULB. I AM VERY DISPOINTED WITH MY DWARF CALI LILES THEY DIDN'T BLOOM AT ALL. MY THUMB IS BLACK.
I PURCHASED SOME MINI ROSES ON LINE AND WHEN THEY ARRIVED THEY HAD BLACKSPOT AND POWDERY MILDEW.. I WAS SHOCKED. I WAS TOLD THAT MINI'S RARELY GET THAT. SO TRYING TO GET RID OF IT AND KEEPING THEM AWAY FROM MY OTHER ROSES . WELL SOME OF MY OTHERS GOT IT. GUESS IT'S AN AIR BORN DEAL. I EMAILED THE GAL AND SHE SAID OH DON'T WORRY GET IT IN THE AIR AND IT WILL GO AWAY. WELL I DECIDED TO HELP IT ALONG WITH THE BAKING SODA AND WATER. THEY ARE LOOKING BETTER NOW BUT I HAD TO DO A LOT OF SPRAYING OF OTHER ROSES TO. THAT MADE ME SO MAD, BUT I REALLY LOVED THE LOOKS AND SMELL OF THOSE PARTICULAR ROSES.
I AM HOPING FOR A GARDEN NEXT YEAR INSTEAD OF THE LOOK OF A NURSERY. LOL
YOU DO KNOW YOUR THE REASON I HAVE THIS HOBBY TO KEEP ME BUSY. IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL GARDEN I WOULD NEVER HAVE WANTED TO TRY. A BIG THANK YOU FOR GETTING ME INTERESTED IN SOMETHING OTHER THEN THE COUCH.. OH AND JUST BETWEEN YOU AND ME IT'S HELPED ME LOOSE WEIGHT AGAIN. IN THE LAST MONTH I HAVE WENT FROM 199 TO 188 YEA YEA YEA...

Ya I will get it all done, just might make for a busy day. Depends on how long the phone calls take. Most important is to the surgery center to find everything out!! I am so excited about tomorrow. I cannot wait, but I also know as soon as it is done I will want more done. I cannot afford anything right now so that sucks!!! Oh well.
Best of luck to Ava today. I have worked with kids that have needed the helmut. It was so much easier when it became a night only thing!!
I am hoping things will come together after the surgery too. Trying not to stress, dont need it going into surgery!!

Yap, it's monday! I soooo did NOT want to get up this morning. Janine - those flowers are beautiful and Jodi, Oh, my your pictures were fantastic! Your garden is beautiful.
Sammi did eat her pancakes yesterday then off to drive her car. My Uncle got a video camera for his birthday so he tried it out on Sammi driving. Sam ended up working 10.5 hours because one of the other drivers is a flake. It's reallly hard on him, the overtime because of his back. When he got home, Sammi called grandma and grandpa and asked them if she could spend the night. They ended up taking us all to Applebees for dinner then kept her for hte night. It was nice to have a quiet evening at home with DH.
Well, I better get a move on.
