Good Morning Janine and Cali,

Today I will be busy trying to keep my job.  My sp ed credential expires at the end of the month and I have not met the requirements to renew it.  Now I'm hearing conflicting information on getting an extension since I am with the district.  So I will be making plenty of calls begging and pleading for help and a resolution.  Wish me luck.

Good Morning all!

Not much to report for me today, I have no contract until Friday, so I will be hanging out at home all day with Marcus and the dogs...I think I am going to start a packing list so that I make sure I take everything I need up north with me and then to my moms. I am getting ready to be gone from home for two whole weeks!

Not much to report for the weekend either, mostly we just hung out and did the errands and whatnot. Yesterday I went to my friend Amy's house to work on her computer and Marcus got to play in the pool with her niece and nephew, he had a blast!

Janine, make sure you let us know what the Dr says about Ava and her helmet!

Janine.. good morning.  Yep I am back for fun and frolicks.  No I did not move or drop off the face of the earth. Just retired from posting for a bit.. er.. yr.  Mondays are always interesting to me.  First I have to think if I am even going to get up when the alarm goes off.  My alarm is set for 3:45 and after a few presses of the snooze button I do get up.  I am taking the bus to work now.  It costs me $4 a month to ride it from escondido to downtown san diego.  It was costing me $60 a week to drive to work.  So now I am a bus person and am enjoying it actually.  I have found a new place to people watch.  Did you know that people are so ingrained into acting a particular way that even the slightist change throws off their balance?  I have had a few instances of not knowing the "rules" of bus riding.  First their is the don't stand where you want to rule.. get in back of the line.  My first day I was told that I needed to get to the back of the line.  I looked at the long line and decided there was no difference in standing where I was and letting everyone get on before me than walking to the back of the line only to walk right past where I was now standing.  This did not set well with this older man.  The next day I made sure I was there early enough to get towards the front of the line.  Last week I brought in a fan for my cubicle.  I will explain my cubicle wars another day.  So here I am with my rather large box and my lunch cooler.  I dropped them near where I thought a line would start.  There were 3 people already there sitting on some cement pilars.  A hispanic woman came and spoke to me but I was not able to comprehend what she was trying to tell me.  I was told she wanted to know if I wanted to move up.  I did not want to pick up all my things to move a few feet.  So the next man who came stood behind me only to be told by the interperter that I did not want to move up.  So he moved ahead of me.  After a few minutes I did move my things up to the #4 spot but not in the "line."  I sat my things down along side of it.  I refuse to be like birds and flock on the same wire.  So you can see how my bus trips are going.  I am not a conventional type and refuse to be like everyone else. 

Oh well... enough stories about the bus people.. and there are many more.  Today I will have a good day and learn more positive things and then head home on the bus.........

Good MOrning.  UGH.. Its monday yuk.  I have not had a day off of work since last weekend.  I had to work this weekend I was at work a total this weekend of 18 hours.  We moved the office from one location to another.  So needed to be there for  the movers at the old and the new.  Needed to be there for the phone and computer guys.   That is what took the most time.  Well, at least my own office is pretty much put together.  Now it is getting the rest of the office taken care.  The phone issues are not yet resolved.  I need IS to come out today and do some work in the office like that can happen.   I need engineering to come and hang some stuff up like that can happen and I need environmental to come and clean.  Like that is going to happen with all the other stuff that needs to be done.  Ineed to have the other departments come in before I can bother getting it cleaned.
Well, let me hit the shower before it gets any later. I need to get there so I can go to a meeting at 9.
Janine, that is great that Ava will get her helmet off during the day.  What about  my little buddy Hunter?  I thought that he will need a helmet too.  Enjoy the drive and have a safe drive.

Good morning.  I am here.  At work.  Physically.  I am not awake yet.  Maybe by 9.  No caffeine on 2 week liver shrink diet.  Ok, so I needed to get rid of the caffeine anyway but dayam.  Back to pushing paper, drinking the water and slinking away for a nap somewhere :o)  Hahaha.  Jayden and his dad are hanging today then we swap around 4.  The kid and I are taking the cans and bottles in to recycling then off to buy dog food.  I AM going to bed early tonight!!!!

I sure do hope that Ava's appointment goes well today!

The thing with Mike~ well, it just so happened that some of his chain of command ending up having a heart and COMMON SENSE and realized that in the grand scheme of things, he was only leaving two weeks earlier than the rest of his "team".  It still was a shocker when he called to say it was a "go" for him to come home, that is FO SHO!

Anyway....have to get my oldest up.  We have her pre-op appt. this morning for her oral surgery.  Her appt is in an hour and I know that it is going to be hard for her to get up and move this early in the AM!  I need to start getting them to bed early to prepare them for school....IN TWO WEEKS!  Yippeeeeee!!

WELL I DON'T KNOW ABOUT MY PICTURE TAKIN, BUT THEY WOULDN'T HAVE COME OUT AT ALL WITH OUT YOUR HELP. USING A CAMERA IS NOT MY STRONG SUIT AT ALL. I CAN'T EVEN SEE THE PICTURES I AM TAKING OUTSIDE IN THE SUN. I JUST POINT AND SHOOT AND IT SHOWS.. LOL... IF YOU HADN'T HAVE TOLD ME ABOUT PUTTING IN ON THE FLOWER SETTING OMG WELL I KNOW WHAT THEY LOOKED LIKE BEFORE,, LOL  I AM HOPING TO LEARN HOW TO POINT AND SHOOT BETTER,,,

AS FOR HUBBY VAC, THE BACK YARD.. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GROW ANYTHING BUT WEEDS BACK THERE AND HUBBY HATES TO MOW THE LAWN SO WE JUST PUT DOWN SOME OF THAT OUTDOOR GRASS LOOKING CARPET OVER THE WHOLE YARD.. IT WAS CHEAPER THEN SOD.. LOL

HE WAS JUST CLEANING UP ALL THE IVY THAT HE HAD CUT FROM THE 2 NEIGHBORS YARDS. OMG THAT STUFF GROWS SO FAST AND SO MUCH. IT'S A ROYAL PAIN.. I WOULD LOVE TO GET RID OF IT SO I COULD FINISH THE BLOCK WALL.. THAT STUFF IS SO STRONG AND HAS BROKEN THROUGH THE BLOCK WALL ON THE SIDE. OH WELL.

I REALLY DO LIKE PLAYING WITH THE FLOWERS WITH SARAH. WE HAVE SO MUCH FUN AND IT KEEPS US BOTH OUT OF TROUBLE UNTIL IT GETS TO HOT OUT SIDE.

I'M GLAD YOU GOT SOME AVA TIME AND I WILL BE KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED THAT AVA IS ABLE TO TAKE THE HELMET OFF DURING THE DAY. THAT HAS TO BE SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND HOT FOR THAT POOR BABY. BUT YOU KNOW IT'S FOR HER OWN GOOD AND SHE WILL THANK YOU BOTH WHEN HER LITTLE HEAD IS PERFECT LIKE THE REST OF HER.

UGH its Monday allready! The weekends never seem long enough!
Got a busy day ahead of me...
While I am still trying to hire 2 people at work...I get to fire one today...ugh! So now I get to hire 3! I hate to have to fire anyone...but he is a 25 year old arrogant know it all and he has got to go...so I am not so broke up about it. Besides that...he broke some very major rules on friday...and thats a no no!

Janine- sorry we did not have a chance to meet and hang out.  I hope you had fun while here in L.A.  I hope

Weekend went well with a few glitches. 
Saturday, went to the knit shop for a little while then I went home to change for the City of Hope's Underwear Affair 10K run.  I was running late.  I got there at around 5 pm.  That would have good except for the fact that I had to turn in donations and then they wanted to talk about how they would get the rest of the $$.  Well, by the time all of that had transpired, not only did the runners started but the walkers too.  Then after mile 4, my legs started cramping up.   After I had done 5K, I had gotten confused as too where to turn around to continue on the course (dah, at the start line).  I started to quit, but I remembered all of the people who had donated and I would have felt like a heel , so I continued running.  When the pain got so bad, I walked.  Then I realized that I was the last runner.  There were two ladies ahead of me so I caught up and passed them.   Coming in last was not an option!  The good thing is that I finished.  I will never wait a week (unless I have an injury) between long runs again.
Sunday, I had spent most of the day with Greg.  We went to Leimert Park (Crenshaw district), listened to the drum circle and watched people dance.  Then we went to Hollywood and hung out.  Kind of disappointed that I did not get a chance to ride my bike this weekend.  But I will make up for that this weekend.
