Good Tuesday Morning Cali
Well it is a Twisted Tuesday Morning Gang it soon it will be time to rise and shine and face the day. Only 3 more days until the weekend....YAY!!!!
I just wanted to thank you all for your vote of confidence in me. I was just really rambling when I put it out there. I talked with Jeff last night about it all again and was bouncing ideas around. He said part of my problem is that I cannot not just do it like I would a painting....gathering materials is going to take me time as I am making all the tiles...and then I have to paint them...and blah blah blah....and people are offering to help, but it is not a project someone can help with because the installation is actually the creation coming to life if that makes sense. I have good experience with mosaicing as some of you know who have been to my house....so I need to get over it! I did go to school yesterday and order glazes that I needed to create this and I can hardly wait actually! Remind me of the excitement when I am in the throws of it...okay????
On another positive note....I have if it sticks a killer good schedule at school this year....1st period....no students. Then I teach 2nd through 5th...have lunch and a prep and then teach 7th!!! Now how cool is that teachers????
Lots of good mega news on the boards too!
Like what about JenDenni getting her date for surgery already???? I am so happy for you Jen!!!!
Oh yeah and what about MadameJoy who later this morning is going to be rollin into the OR and onwards and upwards to a new happy and healthy lifestyle!! We are all rooting for you Joy!!!
Not to mention also that Miss Nikki got approval to transform the lower half of the body....OMG Nikki there is going to be no stopping you!!!! I have not asked lately, but what is up with the job situation?
Vicki I am so glad that all is well with you at the home front! Kids back in school woohoo! Gives you and Mike a little alone time! Hope you are readjusting well....you seem happy and upbeat for sure!
Lola sure sounds like you had a great day with your grandkids. Doesn't it feel great that they would notice already????Can you imagine how things are going to be once you have a fill? Cute you son noticed in the ankles too!
Catt I cannot believe you have a college age child! YIKES!
Lauren how did things go with Jerry's cardio doc? Inquiring minds want to know and I am praying it was a positive visit. Sounds like you had a great time with Larissa. I use to do that many units in college and all I can say...youth is on her side! I am sure she will do you proud. Now as far as your little one being a 6th grader...both of you will survive LOL! I am helping out with the 6th grade orientation thing at our school this year. My husband's theory on teaching is that all you really need to do is stay one step ahead of them and then you will survive!
Jean I bet you are super excited to go to Vegas and see the Diva Cher!!! How exciting. I know you are going to have some fun. The weather should be killer good as it is going to be a dry weekend and Vegas is really arid....sometimes more than it is here. I am sorry to hear that you cannot make the coffee thing out here. Maybe Steve can hold them more often and you can get out here.
Chris R sounds like you had a good weekend in spite of working your hinney off girl! I know it feels weird when the grandbabies are not around, but then again is a nice switch sometimes eh?
Kim I hope that your 1st day back after being on vacation goes smoothly. I know that I am dreading, but looking forward to go back myself. I was at school yesterday and it kind of felt good...you know like wearing that comfy pair of shoes!
Maureen you and Jayden are full of too much energy. When you have your surgery...OMG there is going to be no stopping you. I think Jayden is going to have a hard time keeping up with you. How did hubby do with his opening of deer season?
Christine...what is wrong with "it's all about having a good time?" I think that it is great that you're able to do so. Remember MO keep a lot of people from doing the things they only dreamt about. I am just glad you are out there doing it!
Steve and Jodi with all your gardening...wow I am so impressed. I bet each of your gardens are look super awesome! When I lived in the bay area, I always enjoyed all the flowers that the spring and summer brought, but hated the winter when things looked like poop!!! We will need updated pics!
LuLu...don't worry about reporting anything good from work....I know it can be a bummer! How is Fresser doing these days? Have his moma wrapped even further?
Janel B....I hope that you are doing better and getting stronger by the day....still keeping you in my prayers like the rest of us are!
MomLid...glad that you are feeling good about yourself and that you were able to get back into a dress.....and feel good about it!
Jan I hope you are feeling better and it is really nice to read that you have a supportive husband. I know all your previous experience with what you talked about had to be hard! And speaking of hard....please go easy on yourself and take each day as it comes. If you set yourself up for goals that sometimes might not happen while you are in your honeymoon losing phase, it could make you discouraged. You're doing great and isn't that what it is all about? This can be a permanent wl solution and for sure as I always say, Rome was not built in a day so you can not expect all the years that it took you to get MO will come off ovr night. Just be patient and hang in there for sure!
Rhonda glad you got to snooze girl and get a good night sleep..that is something that eludes me for sure! How exciting to get your tiles and stuff! You will have to update us with pics!
Monica I am glad you had a good weekend. I know your mom so hated showing off Jordyn and play the proud grandma! How did things go at the district office?
LizR you biking fool! Wow I am so proud of you!!!!
Kim aka puddin...glad to hear that you had fun at the Midnight Madness thingie...sounds like it was a lot of fun! Was there a lot of spectators because for sure that is all I would be!
Gus you tease...what did you do this past weekend that made it so awesome? You and Ana...oh nevermind LOL
Katt were you able to have that talk with your uncle? Ease into it because some people do not always like to hear that conversation and I do not want it to drive a wedge into you two speaking again if you know what I mean. It is like if he brings it up...then maybe that would be your window of opportunity to talk about it with him.
Lisa B.....hope that you and your hubby had a very Happy Anniversary!!! I wanna hear the details...well not all, but you know what I mean!
Well I am feeling loopy so I hope that means I can go back to bed and get some sleep. I truly was dragging yesterday from lack of sleep!
So have a great day today and remember tomorrow is WWW and I hope that we have another hefty week weight loss!
Have a super great day everyone and thanks once again for the great support you show me and all the others around you!

Things at the district went well thanks. All of the paper work is done and will be mailed to the state today. They have final say but I know the district wouldn't have approved it unless they knew the state would. I was suppose to spend today and tomorrow doing AVID training but my special school never paid so it's a no go. They are so inept. But hey two more days of vacation. I have to go to school and do training there thursday and friday.
My no napping child decided to take a nap finally at 4:30 shortly after her father left and didn't wake up until after midnight. Needless to say I finally got her down about 30 minutes ago. Just in time for my entire intestinal track to empty (tmi I know). I have know idea what caused it but the gurgling and rumbling is making it hard for me to sleep now. So I am here saying howdy at this rediculous hour.
Everyone enjoy the day
Monica

Oh My Gosh.....yesterday was such a busy and happy day. Back to work, trying to get back in the groove and keep my head into the payroll, but doing the "Happy dance" inside after they called me at work and gave me a date!
No, I don't have an angel yet........I'm not sure what an angel is besides the obvious....der.
I do not have to do a pre-op/liquid diet or anything since my BMI is relatively low, that is good news. Although I should maybe pratice it for a day or two. Silly, I have not gotten on the scale in quite a while. When they denied me I went into pity me mode and didn't care. Maybe I will start back up and get brave and do it!!! Yikes!
But I need to get back into that groove as well since this is a life time commitment and I Want this! I feel God has given me a gift (well soon enough) and I need to respect that and make the most of this!
Well, I gotta get it in gear, you all have a great, great day!!!
Jen
Janine, Good Morning. You know as I said just go with the flow and you will do so well with the mosaic. You are so darn talented. I am still a bit on the sore side. But I will survive. The bike on friday forI will be going to the shop for some very necessary adjustments. I want the parts to not hurt so much. I am taking tomorrow off so I am going to drive to Simi Valley and ride my bike over the old pass road and then turn around and ride back up it. Then I will go see my Dad and Lee and have them take me to lunch. Should be funa nd hard. I can do it though ( I think). You know you do not know it but you are sure and inspiration. I have decided that when I ride I will have my picture taken with a sign sayingKeri this ones for you. I am really starting to get excited for the ride. Next weekend we are going to ride from Lancaster to Ventura. I can do it. It is about 112 miles. You see the bike will have the necessary adjustments made by then. Woo Woo.
Well, need to go have lots of folks to beat into the shower.
I stayed up late last night reading a book that my COO wants us to read. It is called Hardwiring Excellence. I was a little bit yeah right but I actually learned something from the first chapter.
So I have 2 more chapters to read for my first assignment. It was actually inspiring.
Well, have a good day. time to get moving around here.
Have a great day and one and all stay hydrated and take your vitamins.
Miss Jodi, I need to hear from you.( are you really busy with your garden? How does your garden grow. From what I can tell it grows very well
Liz

Not much planned for today....just counting down the days until Vegas baby. I am so excited......VIDEO POKER HERE I COME....lol
So maybe today I will make it down to the pool for some sun and swimming....
I do hope Steve plans more coffee gatherings cause I would really love to come to one out that way and meet everyone in the IE in person....
So, everyone have a great day
Holy crapola that is ORANGE girl! Bet it looks good too!
BTW the TJ's Greek yogurt is to die for and OMG it is so filling!! I could see people putting their protien powder in it too and really get a shot of protien....the yogurt alone is 22 grams of protien per serving!
