Good Twisted Tuesday Morning Cali

Now don't be shocked gang....but I slept in again! Imagine that? I picked up Hunter after school and we went shopping at Michael's, Cost Plus, and to Trader Joes and by the time I got home, his parents were pulling up at the same time. We had dinner and laughed and talked for a couple of hours. I went into my bedroom to make sure I had the DVR sent up for Dancing with the Stars, brushed my teeth, took off my makeup, crawled into bed to watch TV...and that is all she wrote!!!! YAY!!!

This is my normal time to get up for school and start my day...so I am feeling rested in spite of this cold. I did not feel to good at school...it is hard for me to talk because my throat is sore and horse.

Anywho...how was all of your Monday? I know Miss Nikki got her job which is excellent cool!!!! Kim in Fontana got a date....and that is about all I have read. I have not gone and read much of anything else as I need to get moving!

Thank you thank you thank you for all the great comments on my mural too....OMG you guys are the best of the support. I really do appreciate you all letting me share my progress.

Remember tomorrow is whacky Wednesday WeighIn...I have to go find time to weigh somewhere as I am not getting to the gym right now because of too much to do...I will try and do it at school today.

Good Morning Janine and Cali,

Yesterday was a usual day nothing spectacular.  It just seems like the days are getting longer and longer and in a way I guess they are.  I have had so many meetings either before or after school that the day just keeps getting extended.  Yesterday I had one after school and today I have one before and after.  Oh well I appreciate every lil bit that is added to my paycheck.  We need it.

lots of hot sal****er for that throat and fisherman's friends cough drops.  works like a miracle

Good morning Janine and Cali friends!

I hope you start feeling better Janine....that cold stuff is going around.  I sit next to a gal at work and she is a smoker and has the cold with the cough that you wouldn't believe.  But she still goes out and smokes!

I also want to thank you for sharing the mural with us!  It is great to watch the progress with you!  And it is such a beautiful tribute.  Anyone would be so very honored to have that done on their behalf.

Today is Tommy's IEP...........I don't know if I will go or not.  After this school fiasco thing..........James said he would let me know Sunday about him changing schools, well no phone call yet.  So I have decided that the grown-up kids of the kids need to work it out themselves.  I'm tired.  I love that lil guy with all my heart and I will just have to work harder with him on the weekends.

Good Morning Janine and all you wonderful calif peeps...

Today is back to work for me. Oh Joy! Its very sad, because I love my job and yet HATE! my hours. I am trying hard to get over it, but with my back so jacked up right, its just not working.

Yesterday my Fresser, AKA Kojo, went after this other dog. WOW! did she sound like she was going to eat him. He is a very young little yorkie, and It shocked him,  and his daddy who was walking him, and me. Until she stopped, dropped and rolled. Yap, she rolled over on her back, with her tail wagging a mile a minute. It was cute. So Daddy let the yorkie off the leash and they played for a bit in the yard. The Yorkie, Timmy, lives a few houses down, with his mommy, daddy and brother. So we are going to set some play dates for Timmy and Fresser. It was cute to watch them play.

Thats my day, and my story, and I am sticking to it.

Good Morning to everyone!

Yesterday was uneventful here. Just work and home. Works for me. Wanted to watch the premier episode of HEROES but I did the same thing as you Janine. Crawled into bed and was out like a light in moments. LOL Glad I recorded it!

Loving the cool nights and mornings now that fall is upon us. But that also means the COLD is coming soon and I now HATE the cold!

Im so shocked!! :)  Anyway hope you day goes well.  this darn cold is almost gone thank goodness.  I couldnt sleep last night.  Went to bed at 11 and up at 3.  I never sleep too long.  Cant believe october is almost here.  Where has the time gone.  I look forward to meeting those of you coming to the meet and greet in oct.  Take care, Jess

Janine I hope your cold goes away soon.  Colds are yucky

My daughter has had a cold for the past few days and now I woke up with my lungs feeling kinda crappy. 

Well,  only three more days til the weekend.  I love autumn but they say it's supposed to warm up again  today and tomorrow.  But I am loving the cool nights.  Although I am finding I am a little more sensitive to the cold now I have shed 52 lbs of insulation .

Morning Sweetie!

First of all, I want to tell you that mural is absolutely beautiful! I am so impressed!

Yesterday was by far my longest day out. It takes me forever to get ready to go anywhere, and I decided that it was going to be a get dressed nicely, do my hair, AND put on my makeup day....wow!!!

Went to Napa with my sister and we met with my brother and his counselor....brother has a prescription drug problem, along with many other destructive addictions...please pray for him. The appt went well, even though my brother was a bit resistant to some things, we just laid it on the line with him. I was a bit more forthright than my sister....she says that's why she likes to bring me along....I get to be the Kiljoy! I just tend to not mince words, and even though I love my brother, this has all gone on too long, and he needs to stop talking about getting better, and start getting better......54 years old, and he's literally killing himself...anyway, sorry to ramble, just needed to get it out I guess.

After the meeing, went to my Uncle's house, and he and my Aunt who lives down the street from him was there, and we all had lunch together. My aunt was so complimentary on how I look, and it made me feel like a million bucks! My uncle gave me 6 bottles of wine...I'm going to send some to the people down at Cosmed...when they found out my uncle worked at a winery in Napa Valley, and that I worked at Starbucks, all their eyes lit up!! Sending them gifts is the least I can do, they have done so much for me.

Then my sister and I went to the mall, and I bought a really cute denim jacket. The size ran small, so I still bought a large because of my hips, but it was kinda big in the shoulder area....I'm so glad I have a seamstress for a friend...this gal is a miracle worker. I remember pre-wls, I gained weight and couldn't fit into a bridemaid dress....I have no idea where she took the material from on that dress, but she made it fit and you could never tell that she had done anything to it. After shopping we got back to the car and someone broke into it, and stole an iPod, bluetooth and charger, and 2 Starbucks mugs I bought to mail to Mexico.....I tell you, times are tough.......thank God the wine was in the trunk.........take my iPod, but DO NOT MESS WITH MY WINE!!!

Today I have my nurse coming, and then a dear friend that I haven't seen in a few months is coming by. We had a falling out, and just recently have started talking again. It will be so good to see her, as I have missed her, she makes me laugh so hard!

Ok, Good Morning America is almost on, and I have to start my morning with Diane and Robin....oh, and with Janine, too!!

I feel so good for you in renewing your friendship with a dear friend.  That happened to me once,and the separation was so painful.  We renewed our lifelong connection and I think that was one of the happiest days of my life.  It is especially heartwarming when one or both of you say, "This never should have happened".

I slept until 6:20 - OMG I was shocked.....guess cause I stayed up late watching "Dancing with the Stars" - good show but that comedian has GOT to go tonight....sorry OT there for a sec.

Heres wishing everyone a great day - for me it is just a dentist appt this afternoon - with a new dentist....yuck.  I just wish I could find a good dentist that I like.

So, gotta go get another coffee and read the paper - have a great day all....
