Janine-thank you for the shout out.

Cali-Hopefully I will get the sleeves seamed up today by the time I get home (red sweater).  Then all I have to do is do the finishing (buttonhole & button plackets).

I went to a taping of Robert Townsend's new pilot "Night on the Townsend". It was funny.  I only stayed for one taping.  I went immediately after work; therefore, I was tired.

Tonight , I might go to the body pump class and definitely yoga.  I need to be on the lookout for a good yoga mat (reasonable) and a yoga bag for my friend (Christmas gift).

More love,

Kim

Hi Kim,

Body pump is a exercise class using weights.  Usually a barbell and two sets of dumbbells wranging from low to mid weights.  You do slow , controlled movements during the class.
Without struggle, there is no progress.

Thanks!  Maybe I can educate the gym here to do something like that. :-)

Good morning Janine and Cali crew!!  Sorry I am not around much, I just can't seem to get into a groove with the working thing. I'm hoping after the holidays to settle in more. I just bought this book at church Sunday,"Simplify your Time" hoping to maybe get some help! lol
Plus there has been a lot going on in my life too keeping me busy! It's all good and I keep meaning to post an update and will do so maybe later today!
So, yes, the casino "craze" is kind of scary and sad!!! I love working there, but try not to think about the heartbreaking issue of it all!!!
I hope everyone has a GREAT day!!!  bigg huggs, Becky

NascarKim checking in!  I am excited to say I am at another goal. My original goal was 160 and blew right past that!   I am a 145. Who would have thunk that at almost 8 months out I would be here at this magically number. Not me.  I also need to take a new pic for my avatar since the one here is preop.  Now I need some info you Cali people.  I hear others say there is about a 10 pound bounce back.  I am thrilled with 145 and think its a good weight for me. But should I shoot for 135 so that when the bounce bac****urs (if it occurs) then I would be at a good weight?  What are your thoughts?

Good Morning,

Thanks for the shout out Janine.  Yes bed was nice, but I am still sleeping in that recliner.  I know that my back hurts alot less when sleeping in the recliner than the bed.  Dougie may be that big huge king size bed to himself.  I sleep a little better in the bed too, because I don't hear him breathing/snoring in my ear.

We have 18 for dinner Sat night here.  Should be alot of fun, of course I am making Italian food, what else is there when you are Italian?  I am really looking forward to having Doug's office staff and boss here.  Should be a good time.

The arm is doing better.  I am without the sling off and on now.  Not what the doctor ordered, but I just can't get somethings done with one hand.  But it's feeling ok.

Ok off to cleaning the baseboards, the floors, the carpeting, that stairs, and the furniture.  I will be tired tonight.  I do miss talking and seeing everyone.  We need a coffee or something soon.  Also to Steve, when we get older, it's amazing how many people pass on that are around our age.  I lost my very best friend when she was 49.  I have never been the same since.  Then with the loss of my mom, it's very hard on the Holidays.  Keep the chin up, it's part of lifes process, and everyone count your blessings everyday.  Life is wonderful!

Love 2 all, Diane

Hi Diane,

I'm glad you're able to get about without the sling some of the time.  Those healing thoughts are doing their job.   yaaaaaay!
