Good Morning everyone!  Janine, that plaque is beautiful!  If I pay your way up here and give you free room and board and beautiful wonderful fresh air to breathe, will you come do a wall in my living room????  (TeeHee - a girls gotta try doesn't she?)

Yesterday I worked 11 hours in our storm room.  Yay for double time!   It was a good pace, not insane like big storms.  I was training a new girl so in my teaching fashion, she sat in the driver's seat and I was a back seat driver lurking right behind her gently nudging her and prompting her.  Of course, I had the main big picture in my head, and was teaching her the computer grunt work.  Everyone I train tells me I should have been a teacher, because I do it so well.  But, I am --- just not the little hellions! 

Today I go pick up Jayden (he's at a sleep-over birthday party) and we head down to the boot barn where I get to pick up my boots Joe bought me for Valentine's day.  He tells me I've turned into such a shoe who*e!  Yup, I have and it's wonderful!  No more jeans tennies and ugly t-shirts just to cover the bulges.  I feel better about myself and therefore I dress better and the better I dress, the better I feel.

Think my stall is busted.  The scale is headed back down.  Thank goodness!   Off to shower.  I've got things to do.

UPDATE:  I got called into work right after I posted this.  Hrmf.  'OK tho, I need the OT!

Hello all my Cali friends and good morning to you!  Sorry I guess it is late morning,  I was one of the lucky ones, I got to sleep in a bit today. I've been up since 7:30 though.  It sure is great to hear from everyone and to see that all is going good.  Janine, I love the artwork, please send more pics of your murals.  I teach special ed. at a local high school and I couldn't agree more with Picasso, my kids are about 2nd to 3rd grade level and I teach an Arts & Crafts class one period.  I love it and I love to see their creativity.  Anyhow everyone have a great Presidents Day, sorry to those who have to work. Good morning Chris and Cali Friends,

It was nice to sleep in today, until 8a.m.  loved it.  I was supposed to go shopping with my friend but the weather is so bad, neither of us wanted to be driving out in it and she has the longest drive so we decided to postpone it.  Oh well.

Hubby has a study session over at Cal for a mid term tomorrow so I think I will drop him off and do an Ikea run for a couple of hours.  That might be fun.

Janine, the tile is beautiful, I love the colors, the shape and the quote, all very meaningful and beautiful.

Steve and D, even tho we haven't met we're part of the Cali family and I wanted to say it's great to see you posting and congrats on 15 glorious years!

Lulu, hope you are feeling better, you are in my thoughts.

Stay warm and dry with whatever you do today, it's icky out there.
