HOW DID YOU HANDLE THE ANXIETY OF APPROVAL/DENIAL????
I CAN'T EVEN STAND MYSELF!!!!!!
HELP!!!!!

Hey Sunny...

As hard as it is... for me - I try not to think about it.  I was recently denied - I think about 4 days ago for VSG due to being considered "investigational" by Anthem Blue Cross of CA PPO.  In any case - I was prepared to get a denile right off the back since my OH family prepared me very well for the "ouch" of the denial letter.  In any case... I appealed the denial as soon I heard about it.  I was told the greviance review board has 30 days to review my claim and decide.  I am still hopefull that my appeal will be overturned.  In the event that it isn't... I in the mean time I have been keeping up on my research on the bypass since this is the preffered surgery for my insurance co to cover.   Yes - it does suck... but thats the nature of this whole WLS experience.  So again - I say...try not to think about it.  Continue your research efforts for your procedure during the wait.  Blog how you feel daily.  I have found writing has helped alot with the aniety.
