Good morning Rhonda and Calif friends...

Rhonda, I know what you mean about having the energy 100 pounds ago and now...My weight never slowed me down either, but I do notice now I even have more energy.

My DH alsways says..."I don't know how you do it"  I tell him...you know how much you can get done in a 19 hours day!!!  Oh ya, I don't sleep much either!!

Well for me...I had a very nice weekend.  Very relaxing...did laundray, cleaned house, went over and helped my friends daughter that is cleaning out her mothers house.  Tried a few new receipes and learned how to use facebook...

As for today...I have started the 5 Day Pouch Test!!!!  WE CAN DO IT!!!!

Work, then tonight I have a support group meeting, but that is about it for me...

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Hugs, Michele

Good Morning Everyone!  It's a blustery day in Pooh and Tigger's woods today!  The wind was a-howlin' all night long!  I finally had a full two-day weekend and yesterday was spent schlubbing it also!  Joe took a nap around noon and I was settling in for one also when his cousin called and stopped by.  Since Baldy works 6 10-hour days, I let him sleep and entertained his cousin for a bit.  She ended up with a big box of clothes from me and a big bag of sausage and deer meat.  He owed me tho....... Dinner at Outback!

We went in the afternoon to deliver baby blankies to Patty and Randy for their grandkids.  Sat and visited for quite a while.  Randy owns the ranch we hunt on and he and Joe talked for quite some time and Joe is going to be leasing a section of the ranch and doing game management.  They're trying to re-establish some deer and turkey back into the area.   And, maybe, he'll sell us the section or at least a couple of acres nearby so we can build our retirement house out there!  I even have the darn house designed!  Mega master bedroom, one great room that connects with the kitchen, Jayden's room, small guest room and................... mega guest quarters up over the garage for the older kids and their guests.  They'll be responsible for the upkeep.  They come to visit, they get sheets and bedding out of the cupboard at the bottom of the stairs and make their own beds.

This week - I AM BUYING A NEW BED!   OMG.  It's like all of a sudden this bed I have hurts me all over.  Back, hips, shoulders - anywhere my bony part**** it.  I've told the old man and he's resisting, but stuff him - he sleeps in his chair most of the time so I am not giving him a choice.  This thing is over 10 years old and I'm worth it!

Tracking air-fare to LA!  It's now $125 round trip from San Francisco.  Waiting for tax returns to show and will buy tickets!  For now, I'm a working schlub so off I go................

Good Morning Rhonda & Cali Crew,

Well I am officially out of hiding. I don't know what has been wrong with me. The past few weeks I am been hiding from everyone. It's so weird, my personality is like a rollercoaster lately. Some days I am high as a kite and then there are some when all I want to do is run and hide from the world. I am so sorry I missed the LB coffee. I will be at next months for sure!

Today is my Monday and its back to work. I have a very busy schedule this week. I have to read Hamley Act I before Tuesday for my English Lit class & then I have to study for a Philosophy Mid Term on Thurs.  I can't wait to get that over with. I am so ready for these classes to end. I have already decided I am NOT taking any summer classes. I want to be free to lay by the pool & read a good book. I hope everyone has a great week!

Jean- You look fabulous! I am so happy everything went well with your surgery!

Janine - Thanks for the shoutout last week! I am so sorry I never responed. These emotions are just driving me crazy. I am so sick of the rollercoaster depression. Calgon take me away!!

Good Morning,

Already been a busy morning for me.  Got a phone call at 9 from a friend who is helping me out with this 5 day pouch test.  OK, I am already feeling crappy.  Stomach ache and I need to get to the store and get food for some soups that I will make later today.  Today is my do nothing day, which means, changing the beds, doing a few louds of laundry and getting Dougs uniform cleaned for later this week.  The I will cook later this afternoon.  I am pooped just talking about it all.  The entire weekend I spent at my neighbors house, helping her clean her house, and getting her ready for her big party yesterday.  After working so hard there, I stayed for the party for one hour and came home.  I need the number of that truck that ran me over.  Holy cow, I think I am too old for some things that I still do, at least my body screams at me.

As for the 5 day pouch test, ULGH!  My mind is driving me nuts, withdrawals, I want to eat, I won't eat, and I don't mean I want something good to eat, I want something BAD to eat.  But I can do this, I know I can.

Ok everyone have a great day, good luck to the other who are with Michelle on this quest for losing a few more pounds.

Hugs, Diane

Morning Rhonda and All Cali's
I'm going back to bed!  Oh how I wish I could LOL  It is yucky outside, been raining since Saturday nite...yeah yeah,  I know we need it desparately, the whole state...but pleasssee don't rain on my days off!  Surgery is only 15 days away..2 Monday's to go...starting to feel the 'push' at work, tho..so much to get done before I take off..but I'll keep focused on today only, right? Just wish the phone would stop ringing and other people messing up my schedule..they want some report or analysis and I didn't plan for it..so I still haven't gotten to 'my stuff' yet..and the day is almost half over!  My weekend was real laid back..worked on a spreadsheet for work, did a few loads of laundry, read or slept...been really tired this past week...think I'm getting over anxious about the surgery and worrying too much :-(  Everyone stay dry and have a great week!

Nancy,

You may be nervous that is so normal.  But all is going to be great.  All you have is today as none of us know what tomorrow is going to bring,  Each day we get a brand new start too.  Sounds like your work is hectic.   I got really tired right before surgery myself so I think tht is kind of normal.  You are shifting gears it sounds like to me.  Getting ready for a whole new life to open up to you.  You take care and we shall see you on the looser bench,

Rhonda
