Thank you so much for the updated on Marcy!  I've been wondering and praying for her.  Give her big hugs from me and tell her I welcome her to the loser's bench!  It's a great place to be!  Hang on - she's in for the ride of her life and it's AWSOME!!!!

Thanks for the update.  I have been worried about her because I had not heard anything today, I am so happy that she is doing so well.  The more she walks the less the gas and the less chance of those pesky blood clots.

So glad Marcy is doing okay!!  I was right where she was a month ago.  I think we much have been in the same hospital bed because my back was KILLING me!  Boy was it an uncomfortable bed.  I already knew that I had a bad reaction to morphine so I requested something different before surgery.  The gas pain was the WORST.  It will diminish by at least 50% the third day and after a week she'll be up and running....well maybe not ruining, but at least limping along  :O)
