Hospital / Surgeon unable to schedule dates

Anyone heard whats going on with a southern California hospital/surgeon not being able to schedule dates? Looking for some info for a fellow WLS friend who was told "due to cir****tances beyond their control" they could not schedule dates. Hoping the hospital is not closing! I dont want to identify the surgeon or hospital but if you know of this situation please PM me.

I don't know about down there, but I do know they closed our program up here. My friend was scheduled for a Monday the 23rd of Feb and they told her the Friday before (21st) that her surgery was cancelled. She's mega depressed.
