Lab Question

Long story short...

I am going to get my 6 mo. labs done tomorrow. And my regular doctor ordered them, when ordering them she also wanted to do the cholesterol panel, so I have to fast.

Will fasting mess with the bariatric part of the labs?

I only ask this, because in getting my labs done in the past. The lab assistant always asks if I have eaten (when there are no ordered labs for fasting), and when I say "Yes", she says "good".

Hi Nicole,

I had to fast for my 6 month labs and it was perfectly fine. You'll be fine don't worry about it.

I just didnt want to have bad labs because of something dumb like fasting! lol
