It's official! I just shot myself in the foot!!
Not to worry, it will be a miracle if my BMI goes under 40. I'm currently at 53 and rising.......
But I called my insurance company to ask about switching back to HMO, and they told me that it is up to the HR departmet at my work.
The insurance company follows HR's recommendation.
So now I have to call HR and see if I can get them to switch me back. It might actually work if I'm lucky.....
I went tonight to a DS group meeting. It was very good and lots of information!!!
Wish me luck!!!

Well I talked to HR, and they flat out refused.
They said that with a life altering event I might be able to make changes or adds to my OAP. But nothing would ever warrant changing over to the HMO.
So, I'm waiting another 10 months it looks like.
I'm just surprised that the insurance company were very nice to me, but the company that I work for were the ones that refused to help me.....
I'll be pissed if I wait another 10 months and then get denied!!!
