Planning on doing soft foods today.  I know I was dehydrated yesterday so first thing this am I downed two full 32 ounces of sugar free drink between 6 am and now.  Couldnt drink yesterday as everything hurt.  Still "sore" today but much better with the fluids. I did double up on the vitamins yesterday as a precaution to keep my strength up. I was sooo weak and blah.  Going to take the kids shopping today for shoes then take it easy when I get home. Thanks for all the positive thoughts!  I usually can do moist chicken just fine. I think between the broccoli and chicken I probably ate too fast. Lesson learned!!! Guess we need a reminder every now and then.

Get a new Avatar picture, you do not look like that at all.  You have not looked like that in months and months and I have not seen you in months so I know you are even skinnier than the last time I saw you.  SO PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEse make make a promise and get a new picure.

Hi, I just found your post because I was hoping to find helpful info on "stuck" food. I was stupid today at lunch and ate some cracker bread. Normally, I can tolerate it, but I ate too much and am now not feeling great at all.
I am only a little over a month out and it is such a major adjustment for me to eat slow and chew my food well. I am always on the run and I have not yet disciplined myself to plan my meal times and quantities correctly.
When I had my surgery, the info they gave me said that there was a food blockage, to go on clear liquids for 24 hours and gradually return to soft and solid foods over the next 2-3 days. :-(
Man, this hurts... I've had a few minor episodes of overeating and having this pain, but it always cleared up within a couple of hours. not so this time (yet).
by now, i have determined that meat & I do not get along any more, esp. chicken. I am almost totally fish and tofu now. anyway - can't discuss food now. it hurts to think about it. :-(
