Happy Saturday My friends

Nancy - thanks for the kind thoughts!  I am full-blown Catholic (as opposed to being a part-timer) and really enjoy the Mass, the ceremonies and all that.  It gives quite a sense of well-being (to me) and this will be very moving.  I have been to several military funerals and the 21 gun salute is awsome!   My pops was a very good man and deserves this send-off.  It will be hard, but will be there for moms and Lauri. 

I just need something other than blue jeans to wear.  I work in a construction office so there was no reason to buy anything other than jeans for now.  Now, black jeans and a dressy shirt will do.

Lon was/is(tho not active) a Knight and he knew all the guys who were pallbearers for his friend.  Even tho I was raised Lutheran, which is close to the Catholics, I had never been to a Catholic furneral so Lon had to explain the different colors that the Knights wore and some of the rituals they performed.  The guys even carried their swords and raised them as the casket was wheeled in. So very impressive and quite an honor. And the jeans will work, too; I wore black cordoroy jeans and a sweater (I was in Washington state in February after all ^_^).  Dress ran the gambet...everything from jeans to dinner dresses for ladies and jeans to suits for the men.  Another big {{{HUG}}} to Maureen...drive safely to Dixon and wave as you fly down I5 :-)

I've heard of early risers, but 1am???  I'm sorry you are still feeling bad.  Stay in bed and rest!!  I plan to take it easy as well this weekend.  And we are wearing our pink on Friday this coming week.  Our district is losing 73 teachers.

Hope you start feeling better. I have this tummy thing starting damnit.  It started last night all food just wants to come back. It doesn't but nothing feels good.  I feel kinda yuk.  Me and the potty are friends.  I have plans to go out tonight and see groove daddy play with some friends from here. Hoping to feel better so I can go. 
Received some sad news last night and didn't sleep really well.  My elderly neighbor Mr. Red who hasn't been well for a long time. He and his wife are like grandparents to my kids.  He passed away yesterday and I had to tell the kids.  Poor Poor Lindsey she just cried and cried.  I am really sad but he is now well. 2 weeks ago Lindsey and I had to go pick him up off the floor. Mrs Red was trying to get him up to Bathroom and she couldn't so she laid him on the floor.  He was on the floor for 2 hours before she came to get us.  I had him up in a minute Lindsey got his wheelchair then I swumg him into his bed.
Oh well, feel better.

so sorry to hear you lost your neighbor.  It is so hard when you lose someone close; it's a blessing for them, they are out of pain and in a much better place.  Unfotunately, it is the ones left behind who suffer the pain of loss and an emptiness when the loved one is gone.  Be good to yourself and your family today...sending {{{HUGS}}} you way.

Thanks, that is what I told my daughter.  It is always harder for those of us left behind.. I even tell that to myself about my own Mom.

 I went to the health food store and then went to Ross and spent all of on gift card. I am totally stocked at how much I got for 40 buck...3 tops and 2 jackets!! Whoo-hoo!!
Other than that ...not much going on here just enjoying the beautiful day.
