Happy Sunday Friends!

Okay I know you are not use to the Day Light Savings time yet and we are all going to lose that precious hour....but get the hell up gang!!! LOL

I slept in for me....never got up in the middle of the night...miracle of miracles. I went out to dinner last night at this really cool new restuarant in Palm Springs called DINKS.

How interesting it is to see Laura's family in a different perspective and not related to school. Her husband is a hoot not to mention her sister and mother. Laura's father could not be there as it sounds like he has the same crude I did...well sort of still have!

Those books I gave them were a real hit and brought tears to their eyes. Mark, Laura's husband took a picture of the opening page and made a wallpaper out of it on his Blackberry (okay I will forgive him for the Blackberry LOL). They were kind of shocked at how much work was put into it as they has no idea of the process I went through. It really felt good to give them those to tell you the truth because they can take them back to Iowa and Chicago and have a piece of it.

Good morning Janine and Cali!  You did a fabulous job on that book (beside the wall).   I love those shutterfly books . . . I've made a few of them for different thing.  So glad you were feeling up to going to dinner with them last night . . . yea!

Nice to see you Steve . . . I think of you and D often even though we've never met . . . one step at a time going forward . . . it is never easy with all you have gone through.

Not much going on for me today . . . sleeping when I can . .. I had to wake my daughter up today - she forgot to change her clock . .. so was rushing around here . . .

i've been mia lately, sorry about that.. janine it sounds like your getting better good to hear... i had a lazy day yesterday.. i even took a nap.. i had to get my cat some de-wormer and went to a couple of stores to find it.. we blew the cat's mind when we gave her the meds........ she kept it down though.. so i'm going to a specalist about my bladder pain.. that's on the 17th.. i'm going shopping with my mom today try to find my daughter some more clothes that shoud be fun.. alright time for me to jump into the shower.. i hope everyone has a great day..

Good Morning Cali Guys and Gals.

Your book is amazing Janine, as always you are so creative!  It was good to see Steve on Yesterday, it made me smile.  I miss you so much buddy.

I had to get out of the house yesterday, so I called this really old lady I know and talked her into going to bingo with me.  She had fun as did I with her,but neither of us won.  Now everyone all around us on both sides and in front of us at our table won. One woman won 1199 on this big game bingo.  I was having trouble trying to remember what game we were playing so I think yea this other gal may be old, but her brain did work better than mine, and she does look better in jeans than I.  Oh well she was fun anyways and I hope we can do it again.

Well today I have not a clue as to what I am going to do. I feel better and I love the sun being up and all and it is a bit warmer here.  I think I am going to take a walk to somewhere today, where I do not know.  but somewhere. The Library is closed on Sunday's so maybe just up to the park and let the kids play around for a bit.  That sounds like fun.

Oh well that is all that is new with me.  I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Janine, so glad to hear you are feeling better and that you had a nice visit with Laura's family.  I am going to look at your picture journal in just a bit as I enjoy my coffee.

Yesterday, I took my mother-in-law shopping, we did the Wal-Mart thing where I got to by my first 3 tops in the regular woman's section!  XL but not in the larger sized section, geez for five dollars I thought I couldn't pass it up and they are long sleeve tees.  We went to Barnes and Noble and then Smart and Final.  So all in all I did my bit to help stimulate the economy.

Today, I am heading over to San Francisco to take my Step Mom out.  Who knows where we'll end up but we usually have fun, so looking forward to that.

I hate daylight savings in the spring...  Not too much going on here.  Trying to organize all the pictures I have taken.  I haven't forgotten Monica, lol!!  Hope everyone takes it easy today.

Good Morning All!  I got up earlier when the A$((# phone rang, but decided to go back and catch a few more zzzzzz's. 

Today brings............mowing the lawn.  It's ugly and therefore I will mow it.  And I need to finish packing.  I bought a nice pair of black jeans in a size 10 and a pretty white cotton blouse to wear to the funeral.  I have a red jacket that will go over the top nicely.  I had forgotten to use my discount coupon from before, got another one and so decided to use them both and bought myself another pair of jeans and got them for less than half the price.  I am such a bargain shopper!

Well, I need to get a move on.  Shower time.  Hope everyone has a marvy day!

I was just thinking of what a "Real Angel" you are!  You bless so many people by your kindness and art and in so many other ways you touch people.  You are an inspiration and a gift to us all!
