John Muir Weightloss Surgery Center

I thought this info would be useful to pre-ops in the Bay Area.

The John Muir Weightloss Surgery Center at John Muir Medical Center in Concord holds free information seminars on the second Wed. of each month from 6:00p - 7:30p.  The seminar is open to anyone seeking information about the various weightloss surgery options out there.  The seminar is held by the Nurse Specialist and one of the Bariatric Surgeons from the Surgery Center.  They give alot of good information and will answer all of your questions.  If you are interested in attending you can register at www.johnmuirhealth.com or call (800) 710-6111.
This program has an excellent after care program including a great support group that meets once a month.

Hi there!  I attend the support group meetings and they are wonderful!  Also, I talked to Anne Timberlake (Bariatric Nurse Specialist) last week and she shared with me that they are now taking Blue Shield HMO.  Too late for me, but it might not be for someone else.

See you next Saturday  at support group if you're going to be there.

I will be there.  Look forward to seeing you, there is such a difference every month, you look great.  A few of us are going to lunch after the meeting, please join us if you are interested.  We have a few at different stages of post-op and we always have alot of fun at lunch after the meeting.
