Good Morning Cali,

Janine- sorry to hear that your classroom is disorientated by the subsitute.  Hope it doesn't take too long to get it back together again.

Well, I have to tell you that I paid off the 1st Alaskan cruise (May).  Now all I have to do is get the airfare (this week).  Let me tell you the great news.  I was supposed to have been bunking with my younger cousin. Well, young cuz did not pay (she was hoping that her mother would pay).  That did not happen.  So I ended up an older lady with whom I had cruised with before. She did not have a roommate because her husband said that Alaska was too cold for him and he wanted to wear his swimming trunks.  Well, the new roommate had a balcony and I had an outside window, so the travel agents (my cousins) have decided to put me in the balcony and I do not have to pay the extra cost ($500).  So I got an upgrade for free.  My cousins will absorb the difference.  Is that LOVE or what?  Now I have to find a way to pay for Alaskan cruise #2.

Take care,

Kim

Hey Kim!

I just wanted to say YAY for the Alaskan cruises! I went on one in July of 07 - it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Cruising is always fun... I loooove to cruise.. but the destination is just amazing!

Aw, shucks... now I want to go!

Have fun!!! Where are you boarding out of?

Hi Paula,

Thank you so much.  I will be embarking in Seattle.   I am so excited.  Now, I have to get my airline ticket.  If you know of any good deals, please let me know.   I will be going in May.  I am a cruisaholic.

Good Morning,

Wow, do I hate the time change and the fact that Doug didn't get home till 2:30 this morning.  Talk about tired.  These are the days when I am very very happy I am retired!  Goodness.  Everything here is fine, just checking in to let you all know.

Hugs., Diane
