called Dr Agha (plastics) today--he was generous w/his time

That is great that you are thinking more and more about your plastics...but just in case you want to check out any more Docs - or anyone else out there considering plastics....I can say only awesome things about Dr Richard Lee in Newport Beach - (as I am sure Naomi will agree with me). He did my plastics inJan and I could not be happier...he is a great surgeon with the best bedside manor ever - and his office staff is great as well.....I too had consults at the OH convention with Drs Katzen, Agha and Hurwitz....I like both Katzen and Agha (I will say nothing about Hurwitz because they say if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all)....but once I met with Dr Lee I just KNEW that was who I wanted to do my plastics......

Just my opinion - but wanted to put it out there..

LOL about not saying anything nice. I've actually been reading Hurwitz book that he was giving out at the OH convention, I have new found respect for him, though I wasn't as comfortable with him personality-wise as I was with Agha and Aboolian. I just didn't get as much of a "sense" for him.

I am not sure it really matters with Hurwitz anyway because it appears that his presence in SoCal (BH and NB) appears to be more in name and it seems that it is really through other doctors who have trained with him that the actual surgeries get done. Agha, for instance, if the director of the Hurwitz center in Newport Beach.

I'm definitely not done w/my research and I know you and Naomi have been very happy w/your results (and I can certainly see why! ;-) You both look great.

Does Lee have a website? Also, technique wise, I have to say that Agha and Aboolian really knocked my socks off--this, as well as scar placement and overall final results is what made me prefer them over Katzen (no offense to Katzen devotees, this is just my opinion, not gospel truth). So one thing that has become important to me is scar placement and technique. How would you rate Lee in terms of that criteria?

Funny thing was when I went to him for the first time it was just as a consult to get his input but once I met him I just knew in my GUT that he was the one for me - the one I just knew should do my plastics...and a big plus was he was even cheaper than all the other from the convention...not that $$ should be a consideration...but it was an added plus...

I have to agree with Jean.  I had scheduled with a different surgeon and saw him as a second opinion.  After talking with him for a few minutes, I knew he was the one.  His manner, technique, staff, etc are without equal in my opinion. 

I knew I was in good, caring hands.  He is to me, the best.
