Plastic Surgery

How's everyone doing? I am a big lurker on here now a days...  Hope all is well. 

So  today I got the damage reported to me. AKA- the cost of an abdomenplasty. $15,894. Apparently, I have to get not just your regular old tummy tuck... I have to get an EXTENDED one! Anyway, there was a pretty long "wish" list of things I want done but was told by my surgeon to focus on my top priority which of course is my tummy. That estimate is the worst scenario and the office is working on getting the insurance to cover it. They said there is a good chance my insurance will cover this procedure since I have lost more then 100 pounds and it's "medically necessesary". Medically necessary, yea maybe for my mind... LOL

Oh well. I would love to win the lottery but then again, I have to play to win so I don't really have a good chance at this point.

One question though- does anyone else's under arms itch from the saggy skin (AKA your bat wings)? Sometimes my underarms itch soooo bad right where the skin hangs down. It is oh so bothersome. Anyone else have this problem with their bat wings?

Hello my friend!!  I itch under my arms and in the fold where my panni hangs over...make sure you document all the itching with your doctor so that you can prove medical neseccity to your insurnace company. Good Luck, Miss you!!  xoxoxox

My insurance covered the removal of my batwings because of the itching and rashes I was getting due to the sagging skin.  I was getting yeast infections in my arm pits as well.  Document every little sore or rash with pictures and call your PCP everytime to note it in your file to send to the insurance.  Good luck.
