My Friends,

I have completed my two weeks of liquid only diet, and I am about to start two weeks of puree / Blenderized food My doctor has given a list of items I can throw in the blender. However, one of the items on the list is Baby Food.

I picked up some Gerber 3rd's baby food, it has about 25 grams of protein for a 6 oz jar, but I am a little concerned about taste. Have any of your tried this route ? Do you have suggestions on heating it up, or seasoning it ? And how does it taste?

I will take all the help I can get in this area.

Thanks
Doc

I would be more concerned with the calories, baby food scares me as we use it to fatten up babies to give them a healthy start in life.

I am all for spicing up my foods using lots of different spices...makes it not to bland and yuck...

Congrats on the blender stage...

Hi Doc,

I agree with Darlene.........After reading the labels and such, they scared me a little so I stayed away. I went out and bought a Magic Bullet and that thing is great. It does things so fast and helps spice things up a bit especially the protein drinks. Put ice in the mix and its kinda like a protein smoothie. Does great making chicken salad real smooth and other foods as well. Give one a try.

Have a great day........Rick
