Getting stretched again

I went and saw my GI doctor today.  He showed me the pictures of the last edoscopy I had.  The opening from my pouch to my intestines was almost completely closed.  He said if it doesn't work within the next couple of times.  (he will try up to 7 times) then I will have to go back to my surgeon. (Dr. ***** to basically re-do the connection at the bottom of my pouch.  I guess he talked to Dr. LePorts office after the last one.  I am kind of upset that Dr. Chin's office didn't even call to talk to me.  I am going for my 8 month followup next week, I will talk to him about all of this then.


okay, this isn't fun anymore


So my next "stretching" is April 7th.

I am so sorry you are having these problems! I have been following all of your posts since you started having the stretching procedures done. I really hope this time works! I will be thinking about you.

It just sucks that you have to keep getting stretched.  Maybe they should just go in and do whatever they need to do on the re-connection.  At least it will be over with instead of you having to worry about it closing up all the time.  Good luck!  Thinking about you.

Oh, Linda!  I thought you said you were doing better.   I sure hope this next stretching does the trick!

Linda, so sorry to hear you need a fourth scope...praying this one will take care of it.  It's funny how people will say concerning WLS..."You took the easy way out".  If only they knew.  Hang in there girl.  Brian

Dang, girl, it is time for this to end...I am sure that is what you are saying. I know this sucks big ones for you!!! Our dates are really close and I sometimes feel guilty that I have such an easy time of it when I read your post. But I know you will get through this one way or another. By the way you look gorgeous in your avatar!! What a hottie!!!

Oh Man - I am so sorry you are having to deal with all this - but I agree with some of the others - maybe they should just do the reconnection procedure so you don't have to keep getting stretched.  you know you are in my thoughts all the time...and I really hope it "sticks" this time.  But....with all  you have been through and how bad it totally sucks...you look HOT girlfriend....
