I am up and running extra early this morning (thank you Crisco the fat dog Grrr!)
Going to get on the "Dreadmill" and try to work a few more pounds off before my trip.
If I wore pink I would be wearing it for all those teachers out there today. Good luck to all of you...I believe this is the one place they should be putting money and NOT taking it away... all it will cause is more drop outs, more ignorance, over crowded class rooms and possibly losing the best of the best in teachers. It makes me sick to see what is happening to our state. Enough of that...

Yes i need a weekend about right now its been a long week for me ,,, I'm stuck at home this weekend not funds to go out with so just cleaning and keeping busy ,,,
I stil feel a little sad and depressed i need to get out and have some fun soon i hate being like this ,, maybe its the moon? ,,,

I posted an update to my blog so won't go into detail about my meeting with surgeon yesterday..just suffice to say onward and upward! Or maybe that should be downward.....;-) surgery is on for Monday and I'm down 27 1/2 lbs since I started this journey. Can't wait to see what happens AFTER surgery; SUCCESS is in my future!
Today is time to wrap up things here at work and clear my desk. The sun is already shining, suppose to be in low 70's so will definitely take the time to walk the block twice with my co worker..she has been so supportive thru this whole time...she is so into fitness,exercising, eating right...lots of motivation there to keep me on the right track.

Good MOrning all and HAPPY Birthday to our two gals Jeni and Naomi! Make it all fun filled, happy and joyful!
I slept great last night. For some silly reason I was awake at 5 am though. Just laid there and dozed until the alarm went off. I have a stress "crick" in my neck but since it's Friday - I've got a massage and visit to the chiropracter scheduled. The chiropracter explained things very clearly the last time I was there. My muscles were so used to holding my fat body together in a certain way. Since I lost so much weight so fast, my muscles are kinda going "WTF???" and not knowing how to hold things together and we're working on re-training them to hold my body parts in the right spots. My back and my hips and my shoulders are all getting adjusted weekly and I can tell things are feeling a whole lot better! Ya-Hooooo. Now, if we can get the muscle in my left butt cheek to relax...........it's been in a knot for 6 months and it's getting smaller, but WOW!
This weekend I don't have any plans........yet. We shall see how it all develops. I sure hope everyone has a wonderful day and remember to take a few minutes and reconnect with an old friend. Send a note, send a prayer, just think about them and smile! Life's too short! Enjoy!

Enjoy the wonderful day.I am wearing pink today in support for all of you awesome people that work for these school districts that are in need of money so bad. You have all been in my Prayers.
Good luck to all that are walking or running in the different run/walks this weekend. I am going to the Rose Bowl this Sunday for one, so I am pretty excited. I am just walking, but at least I am not sitting at home eating, like I use to.

For everyone who is /will be affected by the budget cuts for the school districts, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. It just doesn't make sense to me, the children are already suffering with overcrowded classrooms, not enough supplies, and too much red tape.
On another note, I am getting my mom's nursing watch (vintage) fixed by a watch repair place in Long Beach for $85 (parts and labor). When I call today, I will inquire whether or not they will be using Hamilton parts or not, the crystal and repairing the band.
I have a nail appointment tonight, Saturday - hair retightening appointment, Sunday- church and a knitting meetup (maybe).

I just LOVE birthdays!!! SO happy birthday to our wonderful people today. I hated to see Feb go, heck it was my birthday month with alot of others, and I just LOVE it, I kinda celebrate all month long. My party was a blast, and then going to my first NASCAR event, for those who know me, know I am NASCAR crazy. It was just a great time for me last month.
I am wishing that the teachers get their point across today, this country is just going to poop, and they always cut in the wrong places. Let's get some of the fat out of the GOVERNMENT, one of those million dollar salaries, can pay for alot of teachers.
