Anyone from the HIGH DESERT??

The one they are all talking about is Dr. Suh group that meets on a Monday,  So happens that it is this coming Monday.  Honestly the group is pretty boring and is the same thing pretty much every time.  But we all meet for coffee at Starbucks on Main St.  Just East of the 15 before the meeting.  We have our meeting prior to that meeting.  We learn the most there i think.  If you are a walker Robin, I am going to be starting up a walking group group in the evenings during the summer.  I will share more at the coffee on Monday night.  Kim goes to that also along with a few other ladies.  I think Amber is going to that one also, I got to meet her last month.   There are a few others up here also so I am sure you will be getting a few posts about them.  The best one ever is Steve and LU's group down the hill, it is on a break right now, but I am hoping and praying it will come back, as it is a  very productive and supportive meeting, best one I have found.

I am here in Victorville as well. I am 5 days out from having Lap-Band. I attended the local support group once and loved all of the information I received on vitamins and nutrition. I would like to attend again so that I can get to know some of the local people on the same journey, but I can't make it this month, so maybe next time.

Yes, we have the "meeting before the meeting" at Starbucks (just east of the 15 X Main Street exit) at 5:30. Its really informal. I too really enjoy this meeting the most!  We learn sooo much from each other. Then we head over to the official meeting at the Holiday Inn Express. See you there!
