Anyone from the HIGH DESERT??

Hello Everybody! 
Im about 2 1/2 weeks post op and wondering if there is anyone from the High desert doing support groups or anything like that.. thanks in advance, Robin

Hang tight, there is a support group up there, and I can't remember her name, but I know it has to do with NASCAR48n24.  She posts regularly on the meetings up there in the desert.

What part of the high desert do you live? I live in California City and there are some in Lancaster and Palmdale.

Im in Victorville my surrounding areas are Hesperia, Apple Valley....

Welcome to the boards.  I noticed your recent surgery date,  Congratulations.  Im here in Victorville.  There are quite a few of us up here.  In fact we usually do a monthly lunch or dinner but to be honest we have not done one since October.  But Celest (from OH) and I were going to plan one pretty quick .  We have done them for a couple years and we really miss them.  Diane is right  NASCAR48n24 posts monthly with a support group meeting and coffee meet up just before.  Pm me if you want to chat.  Glad your here.  Dont be a stranger. 

The person the lady is thinking of is Kim, and she does post on here a lot. She is also a freind of mine and wonderful. The highdesert support group is this Monday night March 16th, we meet at the Starbucks near Arby's on main street before hand at 5:30-6, I think the meeting is at 7 at the Holiday inn.I have been twice now and I absolutly enjoy it. Anyone is welcome and it is really helpful. Anyway, hope to see you there.Amber
