Good Morning all

I bet Janine is typing as I am typing - but oh well I am gonna post anyway.  Hope everyone had a great day yesterday - I know I did.  Spent the entire day shopping with my BFF out in Torrance.  I actually bought my first VICTORIA SECRET undergarments yesterdya and what fun that was.  Being so obese I was never able to buy the pretty things that smaller girls get to wear but now I can...and how fun is that....to actually have matching under garments.....

Then my friend bought me 3 pairs of shoes at the Sketcher Outlet - can you say nice.....

Also picked up a cute t-shirt and a pair of capris at Kohls for super cheap - and the capris are a size 10 OMG I can't believe it.  Oh yea and bought myself a new black purse at the Bandolino store.....and yes, my name is Jean and I am a shopoholic...lol.

Now today I am going to South Coast Plaza with my sister and her friend to do some window shopping - we are going to brouse the fine stores and just look  then have a nice lunch at The CLubhouse - so more walking today in the mall...that counts as exercise doesn't it.  Oh and yes, we will be making at stop at the MAC counter in Bloomingdales....

Good Morning Jean and Cali,

I hope there are pictures to come jean.  .  I am feeling great this morning.  Although this class has been tough on me I am kickin butt.  I got my quiz completed in 20min and knew 7 of the 10 answers without looking them up.  I am getting great feedback from my professor and classmates and for the first time I am enjoying being a student again.

As for today we have to wait for the cable guy to come change out a box and then we have a barbq to go to in santa monica.  I hope we get a bit of nice weather.  Jordyn got sized for shoes yesterday and has her first pair of real (striderite) big girl shoes to wear today.

That is awesome MOnica about your quiz and feedback...I know it is hard being a returning student...hate the continuing education stuff sometimes, but that is life and what keeps things going eh? Good to hear you did not get a pink slip either....it is really nerve racking and I think worse this year because of all the tremendous budget cuts.

How funny you bought Jordyn a pair of Striderites yesterday cuz I bought Ava a pair yesterday too from their website. GMTA!!!!

Congradulation on going back to school. I will have my AA Degree on March 27,2009. Hang in there. It only took me 20 yrs,  five kids, 3 dogs, house payment, husband of 25yrs to do it in. LOL!!! On March 31 I start my BA in Management. What college are you going to? Well good luck. Keep us posted about  school so we all can give you lots of encourgement. Good Luck!! Cathy

Cathy I attend National university.  It is an excellerated program - 1 class a month.  I earned both of my credentials and my masters in sp. ed there.  I am just clearing my sp ed credential now.  Congrats on your acheivement and good luck as you enter in to the next phase.

Good Morning Jean and Cali Guys and Gals,

I was also waiting for Janine to start the post and was about to and they I saw you!  Great Job Jean. 

O.k.  I am jealous about your shopping trip!  But how much fun was that.   I had fun with a couple of my gal pals this weekend.  I tell you, we gals need our gal pals.  I am not quite there yet Jean, but can I join your shopaholics group in a few more pounds?  lol.  The clubhouse is a great place for lunch or dinner.  See if you can get one of the private rooms they are so fun.  One of my old Friends son's is the manager there and always treats me like a queen when we go there.  I love shopping at South Coast Plaza, of course I can hardly afford anything there but wow it is so fun to window shop.  (Before kids I used to live in O.C. Laguna Hills actually).  I miss it sometimes.  I am going to have to try the MAC make-up.  I never have, but you gals are always talking about it.  Did you get the Hello Kitty Bag that they were giving with a purchase a few weeks ago? 

Today I have no plans at all.  I am still re-cooperating from my Slave Driver Lu's 12 mile hike.  I am doing so much better though.  I used an old remedy of my grandmothers (Vick's) and rubbed it all over and I feel pretty good today.  So I may go on a walk with the kids, and I really want to work in the yard now that it is spring.  I am planning my garden so I think I may even start my seedlings inside today and get ready for planting in a few weeks.  (I sound like a farmer, but honestly I have never had a garden).  Gardening is a dream that I have had and this year I am going to full-fill it. 

So enough about me,  Everyone follow a dream that you have.  Today make one step towards it.  No matter how large or small of a step, do something to get a little closer to your dream.  You deserve it.

i had a pretty good yesterday we took my daughter pee wee golfing it was awsome.. i got 3 holes in one... and friday we went to chukky cheeses.had fun there too.. i think we're going to bf dads house and bbq with him.. gonna do my beer can chicken.. so yummy.. so that 's it for me today i hope everyone has a great day..

See, see, see Jean what did I tell you??? YOu are going to be hell of small!!!!! OMG 10's and VS all in one day.....my heart is palpatating. OMG the only thing that would have made it the perfect perfect day if you had visited MAC counter yesterday too!!! LOL

I thought of you a couple of weeks ago when a student of mine came to school with the new Hello Kitty MAC tote...I tried to get it online but it was sold out.....she said they had them at the River at Rancho Mirage. Well I hightailed it back to Palm Springs...picked up my friend and we drove back there....I got 5 of them!!!! LOL

of course I gave one to Ava and her mommy too!!!

Jean I am so happy for you and all that you have done....have a blast today!!! And take some pics would ya please???

I am going to check out the Hello Kitty bags today at Bloomies....and of course pick one up if they have any.  I am planning on taking pics today for sure.....at the restaurant...maybe in front of some designer stores that I can't afford to shop in..lol
