For those that are camping at Silverwood Lake in August

Does anyone know if they have limit as to the # of tents on a site?  There will be 9 in our group but 3 separate families.  I know there is a limit of 3 cars, but i didn't see anything about the number of tents.

Any info would be great.

how many people are in your group so far.  Turns out that there are 9 people in our group and there is a limit of 8 per site.  If you have enough room, maybe I can say I'm with you

The limits are based on the size of your site.  Last year we had several.  Every site is a different size.  Some sites are pretty small and some are huge.   The last two years we have been able to fit 3 tents comfortably with room to spare.  I can also tell you that the rangers have never came and did a head count.  So I wouldnt worry about 9.  As for the cars, parking is the same on most sites.  We have been able to fit 2 compact cars and one full size.  Its tight but you can do it.  There is also a parking lot just a shot away, too.  As long as all your vehicles are checked in to a specific site they can park there overnight if its too tight.

Closer to August when we have a true count and know who all is coming we will be able to fit everyone in a space.  Folks a really good about taking in "Roomies"  LOL.  Thanks for the reminder too.  I need to repost the Camp Out reminder.   Let me know if I can help with any questions you have.
