3 Weeks until Surgery

I'm having surgery 3 weeks from today!  I can't believe it.  It's so exciting and scary.  I'm not sure how I feel about it.  I want it to happen.  I know I need to have it done.  But, now it's like, "Can I really do this?"  And the answer of course is "Yes, I can."  Wow!

I am very excited for you.  Of course you can do this and it's very normal to be scared and excited at the same time, I sure was.  We're all here for you and if you have any questions or need assistance just give a shout out.

Congratulations!  I know how excited you must be. Your right, it can be scary.  But always look at the big picture.  You will be amazed at how much your life changes.  I have had some complications but If I had to do it over again?   I would still do it in a heartbeat.  I have lost 91lbs so far since July 2008.  I no longer have diabetes. or sleep apnea.  I know they will be able to fix the complication (stricture) eventually and life will be even better.  I will be happy to slide on over on the losers bench.

Thanks Linda.  I think the whole life changing thing is what is scary, because it's so unknown.  But it's what is so exciting at the same time.  I love change, but it is just a bit hard at the beginning.  I'm hoping to be rid of my sleep apnea too.  And thanks for sliding over for me. :)

 I'm having surgery the same day as you, April 6th! I SO SO understand how you're feeling. I'm totally ready to make this change and I can't wait to see myself a year from now.
