OT, My day in the dressing room with Jean L

I was in need of some new clothes so when I go to Laughlin with one million cowboys I will be looking good.  SO I call Jean L. up last week and ask her if she would like to go shopping with me.  We make a date and today was the day.  First let me say, THANK YOU JEAN, for all your hard work and for not showing anyone the pictures of me neked in the dressing room.  But here is where it gets funny and this is a wow moment for me too.  We are in Macy's, now fat chicks don't shop Macy's at least this one never did.  She insisted that I will find a pair of jean there, not pull up, but real ones, with pockets and a zipper and fly front.  She grabs these jeans and we are off to the dressing room.  She hands me a pair of size 16 jeans.  OK at this point I am sure that she has lost her mind, size 16 I don't wear anything that is size 16.  So we get this pants up to my hips, my skin is hanging over the sides, and she starts to stuff my skin into these jeans like she is tucking in a shirt.  OMG, I am cracking up, thinking I hope no one can hear us in this dressing room.  OK we get the 16's up and A L M O S T, get them zippered, but if I took a breath it would not work.  I take those off, and here comes the good part, I walk out of Macy's with not one pair of jeans, with a zipper/fly front, I walk out with 2 pairs, size 18.  Now you have to know I have never worn any jean with a zipper fly front EVER!   I couldn't never even find a pair in Lane Giant (Bryant) that I could ever get over my body and try and zipper them, because I was just too big.  Of course back then, you couldn't stuff fat into jeans, but stuffing skin in works just fine!!!  Again thank you Jean, I will look gorgeous, and I don't care how hot it is out there, I will be wearing heavy jeans!!!!

OMG!!!  How funny!  I wish I could have been a fly on the wall!!!!  And, Cowboy is my style lady!  Do you have boots?  The look is totally lost without boots!  And a decent belt!  Oh, if I lived down there, I would have some stuff for you!

Mark your calendar!  I'm flying in on May 29th and leaving June 1.  Rhonda will be my chauffer and hotelier!  We are planning on going to the Long Beach coffee on Saturday and then D-Land on Sunday!  About ready to buy my plane ticket.

Oh Diane, How awesome, good for you getting into regular jeans. Woo Hoo !!! I agree with Maureen, I would have loved to be a fly on the wall and see you two. It is so awesome to have good friends, that know what you have gone through and you both can laugh and have a good time.

That is a WOW moment for sure !!!!!!

LOL How fun and funny!  I felt the same way at Christmas with my friend Clawdy.  We laughed and played for a couple of hours!  I know what you mean about jeans.  I never did find a pair that fit right..maybe I've been in stretch pants and elastic waist too long. It's a hard habit to break. lol

I'm glad you had a good time and found some that fit!  You're doing great!

You are most welcome but it really was my pleasure....and for all of you who know I am a shopoholic - I bought NOTHING for myself....of course Diane did buy me a pair of hot/cute little shoe booties - in exchange for a dress I gave her..you forgot to tell them about the cutsie little dress girl...anyway it was a blast and OMG how funny when I was "tucking" in the skin...but hey - I have been there done that so I knew what to do.....

Diane forgot to mention all of the darling tops she bought and not one of them was high neck conservative....that girl will be showing some cleavage for sure.....and she has all colors - black, purple, white, RED - oh la la....

It truly was a great day and so much fun...and how fun for me to shop and spend someone else's money.  Now Diane - did Dougie like what you bought?  I bet he did...you just have to be sure and get pictures in all your great new clothes....

See I told you the Macys jeans would fit...for anyone who is interested - the Macys brand Style & CO are great jeans and fit super good .

Ok well time to go get a cup of coffee and read the paper....

OMG!  you girls sound like LU and I!  You all are just too funny.  Jean you will have to hold a class on skin stuffing at the Long Beach Coffee sometime.  I could use some tips.  How cool for you Diane,  Dougie better hold on tight with you in your fancy new jeans and tops and all those hunk of burning love fireman cowboys!  What a fun day for you girls.  you deserve it.  Enjoy and YES YOU MUST SHARE PICTURES OF THOSE HOT FIREMAN COWBOY'S.  Take care and enjoy ladies.
