Attend this Saturday's East Bay Bariatric meeting...

Hi CA members,

East Bay Bariatric, an independent peer support group, is meeting this Saturday, March 21, at San Leandro Hospital's Education Center, 13855 East 14th Street, San Leandro, 94578.  Pre-op and Newbie's Q&A Session is from 1:15-1:45 and the general session for everyone is from 2 - 3:30 p.m.  We are a fun, supportive group so check us out today.  Registration not required, meeting is free.  Samples from Bariatric Choice will be distributed.  See this company's link on our group page under Links for more info.

This meeting marks our 8th anniversary as a support group!  Come celebrate.

HELLO KIMBERLEE,
I HAVE MISSED A COUPLE OF MEETINGS,ONE WAS PRE-OP,AND THE NEXT ONE MARCH 21 WAS POST OP,HAD MY SURGERY MARCH 17TH,HOME MAR 24TH,AFTER A FEW ISSUES NOW RESOLVED AT THE HOSPITAL.HOPING ALL IS WELL WITH YOU AND YOURS.
I PUT ON 20 LBS IN 1 DAY WITH SURGERY FLUIDS,THAT WOULD BE AN INTERESTING TOPIC TO DISCUSS,HOW SHOCKING THAT IS.i WILL DO MY DARNEDEST TO GE TO THE NEXT MEETING TO SEE ALL OF OUR WLS FRIENDS................................

Thank you for writing.  I hope you are doing well and that that 20 pound fluid gain didn't discourage you.  Yes, that must have been quite the shock!
