Anyone from Beaver medical group

If so I was wondering how long does it take to find out if the surgery is approved or not.My doctor submitted the request today. I'm so excited but nervous too. Well any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

My sister in law had Beaver and used Dr. Suh. She had her approval in about a week!  Keep calling Michelle at Dr. Suh's office every few days and ask her to check!!!

It took me 2 weeks - Beaver Docs send the file with your psych eval., your records from lite weighs and something else to an approval commitee at Beaver. My advise is to give them a week and start calling. I kept copies of everything because they delayed mine because they kept saying - my file was missing my psych eval. They finally found it but stay on top of the situation.

Dr. Suh did my RNY and I attend 3 of his support groups. There are several patients that attend that had Beaver coverage.  I'm sure you'd get some first had info by attending the support groups and asking those patients in attendance. DAVE

Hopefully it wont be no longer than a week. I;m hoping to have surgery during spring break so I dont have to worry about getting the kids ready for school and all that. Well I will keep my fingers crossed.
