Run For Justice - (OT)
Greetings to all of my friends.... I need your help and support.
On Sunday, March 22, 2009, I will be participating in Public Counsel's annual "Run For Justice", which is held in conjunction with the Pasadena Marathon. I will be participating in the Half Marathon and have committed to raising at least $250 to support the work of this worthy organization.
You can help me reach my goal by making a donation to Public Counsel. Your contribution is tax-deductible and will help turn lives of utter despair and hardship into lives of hope and possibility.
Public Counsel provides critically needed legal and social services to nearly 27,000 people annually - abused and abandoned children, families living in poverty, homeless veterans, the elderly and hundreds of non-profit organizations that serving low-income communities. For every dollar donated, Public Counsel is able to provide over $14.50 of free services - so your donation goes a long way!
Over the last three and a half decades, Public Counsel has recruited over 30,000 volunteers and delivered over a quarter of a billion dollars in free assistance to those who need it the most.
