Good Morning Cali Happy TGIF

It's Friday uh huh....FRIDAY....Wake up gang and lets party!!!!! Okay when the clock strikes 5 or whatever time you get off work!!!

I have to tell you all...the weather is glorious out here in the desert and I know a lot of you Nor Cal people are still having the rain monster visiting you....but I am sitting here at 4 in the morning in a tank top with the slider in my family room open and I am so way not cold!

Last night we went downtown for the weekly street fair and I was in a tank top and skirt at dark and very comfortable. Living in the desert is the best...yeah we have poo pooh weather a couple of months out of the year with the heat and monsoon...but this could not be better chamber of commerce weather we are having right now!

I am so not up on the boards to do a shout out...I have been out of this world busy trying to get things done at school...and now I am on serious crunch for my final deadline of the yearbook. Today ends spring fling week at our school with a dance and carnival at school until 4....double yuck, but I have to be there to take pictures and oh yeah chaparone a bunch of smelly kids LOL! It will be good regardless...okay I am optimistic!

So what do you all have planned for the weekend? Come on....lets get this post rolling kids!

For you 5 dpt....you go people and keep up all the hard work....I know it is difficult....but hey you are so there!!!

Oh yeah and the wl this past week...way to go everyone....so doing such a good job!!!

UGH morning already! My brain just doesnt want to shut down at night so I am not sleeping all that well. I have bags big enough for my wallet and black circles under my eyes, joy!!
The 5 DPT has me down a total of 4 lbs today, its a start.
This weekend is the San Diego Lunch!! I cant wait for that it will be fun a nice distraction. Then an extra work day that I dont want to work. Oh well it is overtime.
Better get my butt moving. Hope everyone has a wonderful first day of Spring!!! Be good to yourselves and those around you!!

Sorry to hear that you are not sleeping well.  That sucks!  Go to the health food store and purchase some Valerian Root capsules.  Whole Foods (or Whole Wallet as some like to call it), has about 2-3 varieties.  Word of warning, you don't want to touch the capsules with your bare hands, they stink like .  You don't want that smell on your hands. Put the capsules in the cap, and then take them from there.  Take the pills an hour before before you go to bed.  Valerian Root calms your nervous system, it doesn't make you drousy and is non-addictive.

Get some real rest.

Good Morning Janine and Cali Guys and Gals!

Busy day, busy weekend for me.  Today I am chaparoning the High School kids on a hike to Pacific Crest Trail.  These are city kids so it should be interesting.  I am ready for it and I need to warm up to the 14 mile HIke I am going on on Monday.   I have a group of Deaf Foster Parents coming to my home for support meeting on Saturday, and I found out there is going to be more kids than adults!  lol.  Mostly teenagers!  lol.  Oh well  Well it was also supposed to be a pot luck, but I have no idea who is bringing what as the person who arranged this meeting was  layed off her job along with dozens of others, so a person I don't even know is leading this now.  It is going to be very interesting I think. Sunday I am going to pass out and just stay in bed I think!  Just because.  Well that is it for me.  I better start thinking of what I need to get ready for this 4 hour hike today.  Everyone have an awesome day and do something nice for just you.

I am up, but no where near awake, even with coffee in my cup. Yesterday my doc gave me something for the pian in my shoulder, and it worked my shoulder did not hurt last night, and I know this because, I was unable to sleep. UGH!! Maybe I should have taken the whole pill instead of just half. But hey, I think that was the first time in months that my shoulder didn't not keep me up at night. Yahhh for no pain!! Booo for no sleep.

This weekend I am going to get my taxes done, then I am hitting then I am hitting the outlet mall with a friend, and if all goes the way its planned a nice walk on monday. And somewhere in there, I plan on sleepy for the few hours. I will have DD hit me with a hammer. She would love that.

OK time to move along and start my day.

Hey Lu how about I come over and hit you with my tire iron?  I think that would work better than a little old hammer, better yet , let me get my husband to drag out  the anvel and I will bring it over on my trip down the hill to Trader Joes?  Let me know which you prefer I should be leaving here around 1;00 ish.  Glad that your shoulder is not hurting though.  And I want to know where you got your medical degree and/or phamacutical degree?  You seem to be relying on that instead of what your doctors are telling you to do like take a whole pill, you nut.  LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR"S!  Or I am going to have to come down there and spank you and put you into time out!  I mean it LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR"S.

Good morning all my cali peeps
happy Friday to you all - and heres to a great weekend.  Today for me is lunch with out of town relatives....My nephew and his family are coming in from Arizona and we are all meeting for lunch - both sisters, my bro in law and one of my great nieces that lives here plus the AZ clan...should be fun since I haven't seen them in over a year.  Then tomorrow is the surprise party for my moms friend then dinner with my sisters after the party - then on Sunday another party at a friends house for his moms birthday - should be fun....but busy.

Yesterday I had the day off - ie no babysitting - so I just had a me day and did some gardening, read magazines, made a run to the grocery store and took a couple of walks.  So it was a nice day.

I did score a great deal at Ann Taylor Loft on Thursday though - bought a cute pair of white pants for - are you ready for this - only $8.88 - yep you read right - Ann Taylor pants for that cheap - on clearance of course - I always shop only clearance and boy oh boy can you get some good deals.

Anyway - our weather here is kinda weird....it was cold yesterday and by the late afternoon the clouds had rolled in and it was way ugly - supposed to be getting some rain so we shall see.

Ok well time for me to go read the paper and have a little more coffee.

This is a quick hit and run hello.  Not only did my child turn the sound down on my phone but managed to turn off the alarm.  Not much going on for us this weekend.  Have a ton of work to get done for my class.

Tomorrow is Sammi's 4th birthday party so I'll be busy this evening and in the morning for sure! Should be fun. We are having a few of her little school friends and a few grown up friends and family. Then, Sunday, Sammi and I drive down to Burbank to pick her sister up from the airport. Kat will be here until Friday. we are all super excited about that! Now, if only I could get rid of this stinky cold..... UGH.
