Burping!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi everyone!  i haven't been on here in years and one of these days i will do a profile update.  but for now i need to ask a question - i'm over 3 years post op and doing great with my weight, exercise, eating, etc.  the only thing is that lately i've been burping a lot.  it's not just after i eat, it seems to be all day and even more at nite and in the morning when i go to bed.  i don't have any other symptoms with it.  anyone else experience this?  thanks!

Hi, I don't have a burping problem. I have a farting problem. I know, how embarassing. Why???

I've been having a burping problem the last couple days, since my fill.  I'll take it to the currently dormant farting problem but I'd rather have neither.

I haven't figured out what I am doing that initates the burps, beyond the obvious fact of swallowing air.

Congratulations on your 3 years post op.  I am a newbie but have always burped when I get full.  My husband always smiles and says, "you must have hit the limit" when I burp!  I have done this since surgery.  Fortunately, I can do it quietly LOL.

OMG, Its amazing that you posted.  The other day I was wondering how you were and what you were up to.  Glad to see that you are doing great.  As for the burping, I sure wish that I could.  You should probably give a shout out to the surgeon and see if they maybe able to enlighten you.

I am only 2 months plus out, but just wanted to say, I burp ALL the time..

I'm burping as I type, lol

I just got done eating.  Usually when I'm done, or full pouchy lets me know by me burping, lol  Everyone around me is used to it now!

hi again!  well thanks for all your responses and the hellos from all my old friends.  i'm doing great and have become a gym addict going 5-6 days a week!  i won't bore you all with the details.  i promise i'll update my profile this week!  anyway, i called my dr. today and the nurse said everything is probably fine and to be careful and not swallow air when i talk or eat!  how the heck do i do that?  she said i can just take gas-ex and that's about it.  i guess it's just one of those things we have to live with.  oh well, it's definitely worth it for me!  see you all again soon!
