Good Tuesday Morning Cali

Good morning Cali and a happy Tuesday to all of you!

I do not know about you all, but is it Friday yet? OMG I got to school yesterday morning only to find all of our school tagged up...it was outrageous.

Students went crazy...and we know it is students it is just a matter of finding the right ones. We have good suspecion because there are a number of students who are up for expulsion and the tagging mainly had to do with our assistant principal and male apendages...all I can say is OMG. Although I must admit I did have a snicker or two...no one could help it. It was sad they tagged a beautiful tiger mural and we have no idea how they got up there...we don't know if it can be retouched either. I guess whoever did it did not have a beef with me because the tile wall was untouched...whew!!!

I have not been on the boards too much...life is way too hectic for me at this time of the year....and I am noticing a lot of you are MIA....I do not know why....guess life has a way of taking us away from here eh?

Just remember it is these vary boards that have kept us supported over the years and how important it is to give back to the community that held our hands through the process and lead us back to a health lifestyle.

Please if you get a chance....give our Rhonda a big shout out...she is feeling quite ill and I am afraid she got bit with that bug I had a few weeks ago...for Rhonda to be down and out and in bed...you know it is super bad!

I am noticing that Joy is MIA...did she leave for Virginia???

Diane I do not know if you have gone to your rodeo thingie yet...but I do know that we are dying to see pics of you in your jeans!!! Come on give us a fashion show....Jean get on her!

Jenn I hope that your son is feeling much better. In spite of being ill it sure sounds like you had a good trip.

Linda how are you feeling? You sure are looking GREAT!

Jean you never said anything about Hello Kitty? Any shopping plans?

Nikki any news about an appointment? I am keeping you in my thoughts. Hope things at work are doing better.

Becky you were a trooper going to the restuarant last weekend. I hope to make a lunch again...not sure...long drive when I do not have anyone to go with. How are things at work?

Sue how did Sammi's birthday party go....I have not gotten to the mail yet...but don't tell Sammi yet!! It will be her surprise!

Monica did I tell you that Hunter is walking all over now? About time eh? That Miss Jordyn sure is an early cruiser!!! It is a relief to having Hunter walk cuz he is so big!

Michele where have you been? You have not been posting either...I hope everything is okay.

Naomi...how things going with you gf? How is the moral at work? You know get this...with budget cuts...they cut off water at our school for a few weeks because it was cheaper to buy milk. Not a good thing out here in the desert because of the heat! They said they will start selling water again in a few weeks. I swear that does not make a lot of sense...water...milk? What are they thinking?

Barb.....did you get that new job? I cannot remember seeing anything you posted about that. How are you angelettes doing too? I do not remember who they are.

Oh yeah it is Nancy aka Sunray...how are you doing? Is the new pouchy treating you good?

I believe there is a Dawn floating around out here who had surgery too...how are you doing?

Good Morning Janine & Everyone,
Ya is it Friday yet is right, but my Friday isnt until Sunday. I am working Sunday to Sunday, we have 2 nurses out on Berevment(sp) Leave. So we are very short staffed, I agreed to work Friday in exchange for Monday off. I already have Tuesday off for Cesar Chavez Day and Wed is my normal day off, so I will have 3 days off. Dont know if I will know how to handle that. Things are better at work, I think they finally grew up and over it.
As for my ultrasound appt it is the 30th the soonest they could get me in. I have been going a little nuts waiting for the appt, but there is nothing I can do. I have no clue what the path is going to be after that. I have to wait to see what my doctor does.
Oh well day 3 only 5 to go. Better finish getting my already tired butt ready for work. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Be good to yourselves and those around you!!

Not Friday...only Tuesday, but we are one day closer.  Wow Janine!  sounds like the little ****s (poopy-squats!) did a number on the school!  Brats!  In this time of budget cuts and everything else they have to take more money from the school districts to clean up a bunch of crap.  I hope they catch 'em and make them pay for all of the damage.

Nikki, I hope you enjoy your time off girl!  You deserve it!  I hope you are healing from your fall and all.

Not much for me today.....just work, grocery shopping.....I have to get the right foods in my house because when I don't I make bad choices.  i have no will power sometimes and it drives my nuts about myself!    I really need to check out some counseling or something but I don't want any more medical bills!!!!

As for the Hello Kitty bag - they were all out of them at Bloomingdales and Nordstroms - oh well - I was to late.  But they are never out of colors of make up I "need"  lol.  I have been away from the computer some as I just haven't been in the mood...but I brouse and read some...

Today brings the dentist for me....step 2 in the 3rd crown replacement saga....not looking forward to it but once its done it will be all good. 

I did watch Twilight yesterday and I must say it is a great movie....now I may just have to go get the book and read it then I am sure I will be ready to see the next one.

So thats about it for me...looking forward to Coffee on Sat which is always great fun....

Everyone have a great Tuesday and Janine I hope they ID the brats that defaced the school....shameful for sure.

Yep Darling Lilly is doing fine and is a very good girl! We got lucky finding her. I thought of Molly the first time I met Lilly too! We'll have to have them meet some time huh?
 

Had a sad depressing day yesterday myself. D and I attended the memorial services for my good friend and co-worker George. he passed away from bone cancer and died a week ago. It's odd, Sunday night I became overwhelmed with grief for all the loss in my life and just broke down.

I must have sobbed for an hour or so and didn't even get to bed until after midnight. So with less than four hours sleep I was in a daze yesterday and still out of it. The memorial services loomed with great anxiety for me all morning. But it was good to be there and I must say his 17 year old daughter had all of us in tears as she read a letter she had written to George she gave him shortly before he passed.

I got to feeling better mentally last night but suppose it won't be the last time I break down will it? Today will be a routine day and I sure hope I get a few laughs in along the way ya know?

Gee looks like time to pack my lunch and get the day underway.

Good Morning All!  I wi**** was Friday!  Then, I'd be 1 day away from skiing again.  Going this Saturday.  OMG - the taggers.  If I were in charge or they were my kids I would have them out there scrubbing the walls, painting over the damage and repairing the mess they made.  Then, I'd have them doing extra maintenance at the school.  No excuse for that.  Make 'em pay for the damage.......... that lets them off too easy and lets them think they can buy their way out of destructive behavior.  They put the time and effort into doing the damage, make 'em put the time and effort into fixing it.  I'm tough and cut my kids no slack.

I'm in the middle of de-junking my house.  I've lived there for 10 years and have a bunch of stuff just hanging around and not being used.  Gooooood Bye!  One load to Salvation Army already and another half load so far.  Kids each have piles to take.  Ahhhhhhhhhh, empty space in a closet.  How ever will I survive?

Off and running.  Vitamins are in.  Protein smoothie 1/2 in (ooooh, it's yummy) and a pile of work to get done.  Later.......

I'm with you Janine, is it Friday yet?  I wish.  So sorry to hear about your school site, yep, just what you all need with budget and everything else to worry about.  So glad they didn't touch your mural though.

My angelettes are simply the most wonderful ladies and I am so proud of both of them.  Nancy aka Sunray is doing wonderful and is super nice, and started on stage two!  Yippee.

Sunnyday55 is a cutie and she will be getting out of the hospital today!  I am so happy for her, she had a little bit of a rough patch but she's is a strong and determined woman and I am so proud of her too.

No new news on the job front, they want me to come over for a "sneak peek" and to try to commute out.  That was supposed to happen April 1st but he has in a meeting most of the day so we're going to reschedule.  I hope that will happen in the same week.  I will try reaching him today.

I hope everyone has a wonderful, bright day.  Go out and do something fun!

So sorry to hear about the tagging at your school.That is just terrible, wish the kids would put more energy in being nice to each other and respect everybody and their property. Janine, your murals are being watched by the Good Lord above, because of your spirit and dedication to what you love. You are a Special Lady. I too, hope they find the kids who did it.
Jean, I am going to try and make it to Long Beach this Saturday for coffee, have to be back for a 2pm birthday party.
Rhonda, sure hope you start feeling better. I hate being sick.
I have you all in my prayers daily and I too have missed some of you on the boards. Love hearing from everybody.
Gotta finish vitamins, then off for a walk. It is gorgeous here today.

HI Janine and Cali Crew,

Ahhhhh cant wait till Friday either.  Fridays usually mean a great weekend ahead for Gus and I.  We have been doing lots of dancing and having a good time. 

Recently I have gotten back on serious of trying to control portions again and higher protein intake.  Going back to the gym now and of course this is all being supported by my wonderful husband!  I feel I am soooo fortunate to have someone in my life that I can do all of this with and he understands every step it takes to accomplish our goals.

I really hope all of you have a good Tuesday and a great week.  Spring is in the air and I am loving it!
