Hello All .... I'ts been a long time

I left my last employer after working for them 3 years to go to a more stable company.  I am truly blessed in these economic times I was able to find another job while I was still working.  All I can say is I used to work for a cellular company and now I am working for a bank.

Took a pay cut, and yes I am traveling further, but in the long run, I will, and my family will be better off. 

It is a "trip" to start a new job, being the "new me".  These people do not know me as the "fat girl".  If I had started this job when I was 355 lbs I would have been treated differently.  I do know that I am different also.  I have more confidence about myself and that shows, and it also creates a different response from people, but I have more confidence because people treat me differently.  I have found that it is a full circle, of how we treat and respect people and how we treat and respect ourselves.  These people are the same people, just they view me differently.

3/4/09 was my year anniversary, and I am now down a total 181 lbs!  OMG!  I weight 174 lbs, but want to be 140, so just need to lose 34 more lbs, I know I can do that!

Congratulations on your new job and a new you too.  You have really done a fantastic job in a year's time!   Just wanted to say way to go and WHOO HOO.

I wish you the best with your new job. Although you had to take a pay cut, at least you can have peace knowing you are still employed somewhere.

You look great.. Keep up the good work, I know you will be able to get that last amount of weight off..

Hey Anabelle....you sure are looking...like wowzer girl!!!I am telling you each time I see you it is a good thing your screename has stayed the same  because I would have never recognized you at ALL!!!

Good on you finding a new job that you like and even better on you for amazing accomplishment! You fought long and hard to have wls and you surely have capitalized on the gift! I bet you will this time next year  be down those 34 pounds...anything is possible and if you always hold on to your dream....well need I say anymore!!!

I can not believe the numbers, that's the WOW factor.....WOW 181 lbs gone!

Now that it is pretty outside, more and more people are noticing.  I am just trying to take it all in, it is a little mind blowing at how people react to you,

Congratuations on the 1 year anniversay...what a fantastic job you have accomplished!  What bank did you go with? You have a wonderful opportunity to educate your new co workers and friends. And you're right...we have to respect ourselves before others will.

 We're practically neighbors...I live in Sacramento and you're just up the road a bit.  And I wholeheartedly agree.we are having spectacluar weather!
